For those who still have the old Walmart box cutter (East cut) and would like to use it, this is the blade for it. Aside from that, the yellow box cutter you can buy in disposable bags is terrible. You'll be able to use this pack for months to come.
It seems like I have 3 to 4 of them due to the gnomes in my house constantly stealing things and returning them in months or years after I get a new one. In addition, it is nice to have a place to safely dispose of the blades. Each blade lasts a really long time and is extremely sharp.
When I worked at an organization that provided these to their employees, I still have the safety cutter I used with these blades. My last employment at this location was a few years ago, and my current job requires me to open packages nearly every day, so I don't have any blades left. Asked a friend for some safety cutters just to tide me over until I could order some, and he said they no longer use that style of safety cutter. If you do something where you are cutting boxes, then get these blades if you have to work somewhere where you are doing that. You may regret it otherwise.
A specialty product, it is made to target a specific box cutter, or a specific range of applications. Buying it is not something you can just run out and pick up at the corner. Having trust in the seller to relay the description accurately is essential. These blades are just as advertised and are a great value.
I liked the compact container in which they came. The safe blade storage unit has 100 blade slots for each blade and also includes a slot to dispose of old blades.
The package looks nice. In packs of three, the blades are wrapped in paper. There is a locking mechanism and a compartment for unused blades in the box. Separate and safe storage of used blades is easy. I think it was worth the money I spent.
It's a good blade, but does not last as long as it used to.
