I'm not sure if it's from China or not. All I can say is that it is extremely sturdy as a single piece and will easily support my husband, who weighs in at over 250 pounds, without bowing or bending. It's also so light that you can hold it in your hands with just a couple of fingers. I hope this has been of assistance to you.
The lowest step is number five. The top step is 10 inches deep and 12 inches wide, with a depth of 5 inches and a width of 13 inches.

I'm not sure why, but it didn't come with a Gorilla label when I bought it. It is, however, extremely durable, and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

I needed a replacement for a broken step stool that could also serve as a secure mounting block for my horse trailer. This meets both requirements perfectly and costs a fraction of the price of a genuine mounting block. It appears to be in good condition.
It's incredibly light. Non slip. This is the most amazing step stool I've ever seen. Compared to the competition, I'm a little taller. It's small and tough. It is sleek and easy to store because the bottom isn't too flared out. I used to load very heavy equipment into a horse trailer, and I'm a big guy. Even with muddy boots on gravel, there are no buckles, bends, or shifting big safe steps. In either direction, it's safe to use. Buy one. Purchase one for your friends and family.
I'm over 200 pounds and this stool supports me as if I were 50 pounds. It is the most durable stool ever created. Extremely powerful. Take no notice of anyone else. PLUS. Carrying it is a breeze.
Because my wife has hip and knee problems, taking a single step into our small RV is challenging and potentially dangerous. I was looking for a simple, long-lasting 2-in-1. She found a step that she thought might work for her and decided to give it a go. br>If it didn't work out, I figured it would be useful for washing my truck. anyway. If I had one wish, it would be to have it in tan or a similar color. We're in the desert, and the black had filled up with dust in less than five minutes!.
This was an excellent purchase. They are sturdy and I expect them to last a long time; despite the fact that the labeling is different (not displaying the same brand), they are identical to one I purchased ten years ago and which is still going strong. I also ordered another brand, which is even better but also more expensive; I use these outdoors and in my shop, so they're fine; I'll keep the better one inside.
I purchased it because I required both a step stool and a seat. To work on projects (door knobs) or anything else that requires squatting, this is the perfect height. and sturdy enough to stand on in order to reach items on high shelves.
As a mounting block, it performs admirably. This is a fantastic stepping stool. Although it is lightweight, it has a solid feel to it. I'm not worried about it bending or buckleing. It's also a little taller than some of the other ones I checked out. My horse and I use mine as a mounting block. It's great to keep in the horse trailer for use at shows or on the trail. Rides on private property What I was looking for.
The product is similar to a variety of other "modern" manufactured goods: It's a great idea. . . but it's a sham! br>The step at the bottom is too shallow. It needs to be the same depth as the top step. When you put a bunch of moron bean counters and designers in the same room, the end result is always a letdown.
