Mine just shattered while I was changing the hvac filter in the ceiling. It shattered, and I collapsed onto the couch, ripping the access door from the ceiling. This will set you back a hundred dollars to replace. It's a good thing I landed on my couch. I'm a 230-pound woman. In January, I purchased a stool. I only used it once a month/////////////////////////////////////// additionally, exercise caution.
Not exactly sturdily constructed. At least, not for someone like me, who weighs 235 pounds. If I twisted around on it or added another 20 pounds to my weight, I think I could collapse it. This does not inspire confidence.
The delivery of this step stool was prompt. Good packaging I've used it a few times to reach the upper cabinets in my kitchen. It appears to be quite tough. My only gripe is that when I pick it up by the hand slot to move it, it automatically folds on my fingers, necessitating extra caution. I would definitely recommend it for a boost to those hard-to-reach places, but be careful when picking it up with your fingers.
I was in desperate need of a fold-out table. We needed a step stool for our RV, so we ordered this one. It folds easily (with one hand) and is sturdy enough, though if you are a larger person, I would be concerned because there appears to be some give in the center when you stand on it. The stand-on space is adequate for standing, but you must be aware of where your feet are at all times. That would be the only difference I would make. in order to increase the size of that space I have a nonfolding one in my house that has more stand-on space, and I wish this one did as well. Overall, it will be useful in the RV for reaching higher spaces, and I like that it folds up for storage.

This step stool appeals to me because it is well-made, folds easily, and fits comfortably beside my feet in our pickup truck. I just need that extra push to get into the truck.
