This was purchased for a family member who is 80 years old. She required it in order to rise from her adjustable bed. The fact that it was so sturdy pleased me greatly! She wouldn't slip because the top gripper was so secure. The handle gives her something to hold on to as she climbs or descends the stairs. The step is also adjustable, making it ideal for people of all heights; she is quite short, so this feature was particularly useful to her. My 17 mo. Climbing in, sitting on it, and going through the handles were all things that my grandson enjoyed doing. It never tilted or fell over, no matter how much I climbed on it. I may be ordering him to take a step on his own in the near future! The weight is sufficient to keep it firmly in place on the ground. After having open heart surgery, I thought this would be beneficial. It's incredibly heavy! br>I'm not supposed to lift that much weight. Despite the fact that I never used it, I was charged a 20% restocking fee! br>Also, make sure to check how much it adjusts in real life, as pictures can be misleading.

I'm glad I did because I've found a lot of other applications for it. While I didn't think I needed a step stool with an adjustable handle, I tried it out and was surprised at how much safer and more secure I felt. The step stool is easy to move from one location to another, and the height of the stool and the handle are both easily adjustable. It is a well-designed and high-quality product that I am confident I will use frequently.

This was purchased for my 90-year-old mother in order for her to be able to reach her clothes in the closet. It was fairly simple to put together and appears to be quite sturdy on a hard floor, but it would be a disaster on carpet. The handle is a fixed height, so it's not as stable as I'd like. My mother is quite tall, and reaching downward at her age is difficult, so a handle that could be adjusted higher or lower according to height would be ideal. She can't just grab the handle once she's standing on the stool because it's so low. She can use it to balance while stepping onto the stool, but once she's standing, she'll have to reach down quite far to grab it when stepping off.

We're using it to potty train our 26-month-old son. I like that I can adjust the height to make it easier for her to step up while still allowing her to reach the toilet by herself. We have a toilet that is at a comfortable height, as well as a two-piece toilet paper dispenser. We were worried that she would fall when she turned around on the step step stool (which would have happened many times if we hadn't been there). This stool has a wide step and a handle that not only makes it easier for her to get up and down, but also prevents her from falling and hitting her head on the bathtub. The handle also makes it easier for me to move it when I need to use the toilet rather than bending over to move the kids step stool, which we now keep in front of the sink so it doesn't have to move. I also like how this step stool can be used by me. This is by far the best investment I've ever made! It gives me great comfort to know that my toddler is safe when he or she goes to the bathroom!.

The step stool is of good quality and is simple to put together. Despite reading the description, I assumed it would work with my application, but even at the lowest setting, it was too high. I assumed that as an Amazon Prime member, I would be able to return it without difficulty. However, I neglected to read the small print regarding returns to third-party sellers. Well, the seller offered to allow me to return the $67 item with a 20% refund for it. I'll cover the stocking fee and return shipping costs, which are estimated to be around $10. So, do I return it for a $25 refund or keep it for $67? br>In the future, I'll be more cautious about who I buy from on Amazon and what their return policies are. PS I believe I will keep it for myself or someone else to use in the future.
