It is a perfect fit. The matte aluminum finish is attractive, and it has a rubber grip to prevent the PC from slipping. It also feels very sturdy. My only caution is that the stand's arms have a lip that curves up about an inch at the end. If your laptop or Mac has a thick base, this won't be noticeable, but mine is quite thin, so the curve sticks out a little. br>br>While I prefer to rest my wrist on it when using the trackpad, I can see how it could be inconvenient for someone with different postural preferences or a laptop of a different size. The stand is very sturdy, and it opens up to allow your computer to breathe. A photograph depicts an old-fashioned house. It has a school 14" Lenovo Thinkpad on top of it (which fits well) and a Focusrite Clarette audio interface underneath it. The grey strips are made of a non-slip polyurethane. It's simple to break. This is my second laptop stand; I'm not sure if I'm disassembling it or putting it together incorrectly, but I do it frequently because I travel a lot and carry it with me. It happened to me again, this time when I was just snapping the stand into the bottom piece and the cheap plastic that was supposed to hold it in place broke off. I thought it was my fault the first time because I was being too harsh with it, so I ordered another and warned myself to be cautious. Another stand has been broken as a result of the cheap plastic used to secure it to the base.

All I have owned this product for is the time it took me to retrieve it from my front porch, open it, assemble it, and post a review on Amazon, and I am already satisfied beyond my expectations in that short period of time. This is a fantastic product. br>br>The product arrived a day late, but that was due to the shipping company (OnTrac) rather than the product manufacturer. The product was expertly packaged in a sturdy box, and its components were wrapped in thick wrapping to prevent scratches on the surface. Each arm, as well as the tie rod that connects the arms, is made up of three pieces. It's made up of sliding and snapping pieces that fit together snugly. The metal is extremely strong! This isn't cheap tubular metal that's hollow on the inside, but solid all the way through. My MacBook Pro looks great with the brushed silver finish. br>br>My plan was to use this as a permanent desk stand for my MacBook Pro, conceal the Apple wireless keyboard beneath it when not in use, and connect the MacBook Pro to two 34-inch monitors while it was on the stand at my desk.
