For some reason, I could not get this very expensive text reader to work. Read errors continue to occur. A word that is mispronounced. In some cases, punctuation was not acknowledged. A portion of the text was skipped. I was unable to read the We began in the middle column, moved to the last column, and then began in the There were times when there was a picture or text box within the page, which made it very difficult to follow and understand. I had seen many Utube videos with positive reviews, which made me want to buy it, but in my opinion these descriptions are false. This device was bought for my mom because she is losing her sight, and I thought she could "read" books, magazines, newspapers, and restaurant menus with it. The total opposite of what we wanted.

She suffers from severe AMD, so it did not work for me. upgrade from the Orcaam Eye to the Orcacam Head. This is a company that I would totally recommend, and we are extremely happy with the product.

GET IT TO WORK! The OrCam Read would be easier to use in everyday situations if it came with a belt clip case to carry it along with its earbud
