No, it does not require any toner or ink. The only thing you need is thermal receipt paper to print it.
We had a problem with Milestone MHT It is not possible to print receipts on a square platform with the P80A
A cash drawer socket is built-in to the printer, so it will work with the cash drawer. The cash drawer express delivery is compatible with the printer.

I am fast. . Easy to do. A good printer with good print quality and an easy installation.
As a result, I returned the printer because it was not compatible with my computer. In any case. We had no problems returning the product and the shipping was fast.
It is simply the best! My register is controlled by it, which I love.
An easy to install product.
The team worked well together.
It is designed for environments where work takes place at a fast pace. There is no wireless version of this printer, but it has unlit Bluetooth and WiFi indicators and it uses the same manual as the wireless version of this printer. Despite the plug's circular shape, it has three asymmetrical contacts that must be inserted at an angle in order for it to work. When it is disconnected for any reason, reconnecting it can take a bit of effort.
The receipt compartment is very easy to access - the release is not difficult to open and it springs open so that fast replacements can be accomplished. You should turn off your printer before opening it or else it will make a very loud warning beep. The CD contains the necessary driver software. The website for the drivers can be very slow when accessed from the northeast of the U. S. if you don't have a CD drive For me personally, I was unable to see the website for mhtcomputing using the URL specified in the manual. You can download the drivers by searching "mhtcomputing" in a search engine. The top result of the search is a file directory on mhtcomputing's website with numerous downloads, from here you can apply to download the receipt printer driver. As long as you have the driver installed, you can print using whatever software you want to It is easier to remove the receipt cleanly from the printer as it has a cutter. You can print long receipts, and the resolution is okay. The printing speed is decent so you can print long receipts. If you want, you can also do some black and white graphics in low resolution. If you set the paper size to a large size, the printer will always stop at the last part of the document with something to print, so it won't roll out blanks. With overall performance of this printer, you can expect a range of applications to work efficiently and quickly.
The only thing to keep in mind is that this is almost THE perfect thermal printer, with some minor flaws. If you want to configure this, you must download the software (or perhaps it is on the CD as well) from the website. Before you do anything else, make sure you download the software. Without the software, I was not able to get this to work on Windows 10. The reason I bought this device was to use it via network cable and to my surprise, it did not pull a DHCP address since it had a static IP address of As it turned out, I already had a network configuration that conflicted with this one. The solution I found while surfing around involved downloading and installing the Milestone P80A Driver zip file that was provided in one of the links here, which also included a program called MilestonePrinterTool that can configure the printer to DHCP along with other options. As a consequence, this program will not display the current network settings, so it is best to avoid being alarmed if nothing appears to be configured, and instead refer to the sample printout that came with the printer, which contains the current configuration info. There are a few quirky things about it, including the fact that it says Bluetooth and WiFi No, this unit is not equipped with either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Additionally, the manual states that these should be set up first, which did not make any It prints well, so there's no problem with that. Overall, this is a great product. One star off for setup guess work, but overall, it's a great.
