It's very simple! I don't use a paper towel because it leaves debris behind, instead opting for a microfiber towel dampened with warm water. It peels off easily and leaves no traces of its presence!
The screws that come with the kit are 1" long. They're not wood screws, but they're designed for the included drywall wall anchors. With the help of a pre-designed template, The screws could be used if a hole was drilled in the plywood.
It is possible to paint the frame.

Season any new chalkboard by laying a stick of chalk on its side and covering it completely with chalk. Wipe with a damp rag, let dry, and then do it again. Otherwise, whatever you write on the unseasoned surface will "burn" into the chalkboard, leaving you with dark ghost images of it for the rest of your life.
Although the chalkboard is functional, the frame is made of particle board with a rustic wood sticker covering. I guess I didn't pay close enough attention to notice that it wasn't going to be made of real wood. The sticker covering on the corners had already started to peel off when it arrived.
The fact that the surface is wrinkled is extremely disappointing. Right out of the box, there is a scratch on the wood frame. The quality is not up to par for the price. I'm going to give it back to you.

We recently returned from a 5-state, 5-night glamping trip. Seven national parks are located throughout the country. As part of our souvenirs, we purchased a large number of magnets. I didn't want to put them on the fridge because I knew we'd have to move them every time we cleaned it, but I needed something to keep them out. " It's a nice picture, but it's not what I had in mind. If you aren't too close, it looks good. br>br>To avoid 'ghost images,' always prime your chalkboard with chalk before using it. Simply draw all over it with the side of the chalk, wipe it off, and you're done.

It is, however, very unobtrusive, protruding only about an inch or so from the wall. It comes with mounting hardware that is simple to use. My husband and I own a smoked BBQ and butcher shop, so this is an excellent choice. Our menu was recently on a white board, and the look just wasn't right for our rustic little country shop, which opened at the end of May this year. We got these boards and they're fantastic! It was a lot of fun to create the menu, and it turned out beautifully. The board is of excellent quality and size. Our purchase has been a great success.
