With a container of this size, a standard 8 1/2 by 11 inch spiral notebook will easily fit flat inside.

This is an overall good piece of work Nevertheless, one of the bins cracked in the first few hours after installation. It would be more appropriate if the bins were a bit tougher if they were intended for children. During construction, one of the laminated pieces on the bottom of the cabinet came unglued and broke off. There is nothing special about it other than particle board and balsa wood, but it is sturdy.
I find that piece of furniture to be absolutely beautiful. I was looking for exactly what I needed The wood itself is solid. We put it together together in about 30 minutes but it only took two of us. This works like a charm!.
