Yes, I was able to completely cover the area, but I was working with a small canvas.
There has never been a sticky backing on any stencils I've purchased. It isn't required. If you want it to stick, you must apply it to your stencil yourself.
Why not, if it's on a flat indoor surface? On a curved surface, it won't leave a clean etching.

I wish they were a little thicker, but they worked perfectly for my project, where I needed to add texture to a piece where the veneer edging had chipped and broken off in a few spots. I was able to use this stencil to spread my texture medium and create a lovely effect; I really like this pattern!.
The stencil is lovely and well-made. br>br>However, it was FOLDED IN HALF and stuffed into the bottom of a large padded envelope, causing it to warp! As anyone considering this product knows, it's critical for any stencil (especially large ones) to lay FLAT against whatever surface it's being used on, and this requirement has now been severely weakened. There isn't even a crease in the fabric. I'm hoping to save it by pressing it beneath some heavy books for a while because it bent in an arc rather than folding with a hard edge, but this was an entirely avoidable problem. The package was quite large (8x10, perhaps?). padded envelope with a padded envelope with a padded envelope with a It was completely empty except for the stencil. It was PLENTY big enough for the stencil to go in straight without having to be folded and stuffed all the way to the bottom. Without being folded, it might have fit along the bottom sideways. br>br>Disappointing! br>br>.
Love! I used stencils to decorate the top of my glass table.
It's lovely, but I can't seem to find the right medium for it! I intended to use it with guilding flakes, but the stencil got stuck on the two-sided adhesive paper! It took a lot of effort to get off! I used a gold marker to try it out. It didn't appear to be in very good condition. It's a lovely stencil, and I'm still trying to figure out how to use it.
It's flimsy and thin. In multi-areas with multiple medias, it's difficult to get the pattern without bleeds. It can be used on any piece that needs to be left rough or distressed.
I couldn't get this stencil to work despite using a glue adhesive, various brushes, and various techniques. Also, lining up for a solid flowing pattern is impossible.
I like the stencil, but I'm afraid it won't last very long because it's a little flimsy.
The pattern's edges could be a little smoother, and it could be a little larger in size, but I'm confident it will do the job, even if the edges aren't clear.
