The OU5 has a very beautiful appearance. This model has a very attractive koa laminate finish and an abalone rosette and purfling that make it appear much more expensive. I have been playing the concert ukulele for two years now. My first ukulele was a highly rated one on Amazon for 70 bucks, but the washers on the keys were loose, vibrate, and weren't able to be tightened, so I returned it and decided to spend a little more than double on this one.
