Questions & Answers

Are there any requirements for how many I need to put on my door or wall?

It takes about 15 panels to cover a regular room door. There are no fixed dimensions for a room it all depends on how long and how tall the walls are. It is appropriate to cover the entire wall in one layer to achieve the best effect.

What do you need to do to install Does it come with double-sided ?

There isn't a double-sided tape included, but you can apply it to a wall or ceiling using foam panel tape, an item that can be easily found on Amazon. Thanks for your support.

How will this help in reducing traffic noise from outside if I use them to cover my windows?

That should be the case. It is covered completely if a window is present. However, I use blackout curtains as a double layer for that purpose. There are more curtains rods installed than I need, and they are higher and wider than I I use the panels behind my son's TV to dampen the noise from the traffic. But I may not have as serious a traffic noise as you do.

If I paste it inside a new wall, on the back of one sheet of drywall before the other one is attached, will it work?

If you are installing drywall, use the appropriate sound density board. It works better than anything else. You can also build bass traps if you are handy.

There may be pieces that are not 2" thick, so There were at least six foam pads out of 24 that I ordered that did not expand to 2" like they were supposed to
4/5

Is it possible that the bags in which they are stored are taking up all the space? It is not clear. My shoes aired out for 48 hours and then I dipped them in water, and my shoes still don't work. It was just a matter of not having the material to be 2" thick. In order to assure I'll get them all 2" thick for my project, I ordered another 24 to be sure they would all come out 2" thick this time. I recommend them, they really make the room, no complaints! I will order more if this continues.

Wasn't able to get as much done as I had The walls in our house do not have So, those who have rooms next to mine can hear everything I do and the reverse is also true

She has tried a bunch of things and said there was no difference in her opinion. Even though I am talking, she can still clearly hear me. I am very disappointed. Furthermore, foam is difficult to adhere to, so we had trouble finding adhesive that would stick to it. After supergluing 3m strips to the foam, I was able to insert the.

THESE REFLECTIONS ARE THICK AND PERFECT FOR KILLING ECHOS
5/5

I like this one because it's thick and perfect. For my podcast studio, I bought these. There are many different types of acoustic foams on the market, but these are by far the best. They are all perfectly square and approximately 2 inches thick, so they provide a lot of sound absorption. The 24 pack I ordered does not contain any foam pieces that differ from the others, even among the 24 pieces. It is amazing how well these fit in the frames that I assembled! As you can see, all of them fit together The following pro tip may be helpful The first thing I did was just throw them in the dryer on medium heat for about 10 minutes They grew, despite the fact that I set them first. I am curious if setting them first would make a difference, though. My experiment resulted in SUPER fluffy foam when I soaked the cloths before putting them in the dryer. I am not kidding when I say these foam pieces are of You'll be able to achieve exactly what you are hoping for from these foam pads if you simply follow the instructions!.

It is what it says
5/5

It has been over a week since I bought a 12 pack and set the boxes out. In all, only about half of the tiles I decided to order 72 of these to cover the surrounds of my golf simulator, after that they all expanded to the expected size after they were soaked in water. It's impressive how all 72 pieces of the piece are shaped and sized in such a consistent way! There is no guarantee they will dampen sound well, but that was not the purpose of my purchase. As such, I recommend these if you are looking for pieces that come in consistent sizes. It's just a matter of remembering that you need to do it with water and drying!.

For the money, you can't beat these acoustical tiles
5/5

There's no doubt that these are a bargain for the price. only strange thing I found were the instructions for "fluffing them up" that the company provided me. As opposed to just letting the foam product do its own thing, without all that silly and messy work, it sounded more like a baking recipe. They would do things like "dousing them in water and baking them" as if they were a cake. The whole thing is a LUDICROUS idea! To fully expand them, just remove the wrapping upon receiving them and leave them in a room overnight, so that the plastic has a chance to fully liquefy. It is better to place them directly in the sunshine to speed up the process. So that's all there is to.

Then, soak them, but don't soak them according to the instructions
5/5

The product I used in my drum studio was very good. There is good density in the foam, and it However, even though I rinced it out before using the dryer, even after three attempts, I still wasn't able to dry it after soaking it and putting it in the dryer. Thank you for your help in advance. I have wonderful news to share It is very fast to recover the tiles with a steam iron if you have one, simply using steam puffs instead of soaking them and waiting for them to dry.

The number of good ones you get from 12 is 8
3/5

4 tiles out of every 12 are defective, and the packages should be returned to the factory. I have bought dozen shirts, and there are always 4 rejects in each dozen. They may be too thin, or there may be two squares instead of four, or three of the squares may be oddly shaped on one side. -The complete tiles meet the project's needs and are appealing to the eye. Over 2 dollars each, this is not a cheap product. Therefore, you only get eight good ones, while you get four.

Their density is quite high and they expand quite a bit
5/5

According to several reviews, the acoustic panels did not fully expand. I almost stopped reading reviews after that. Since I didn't want to risk anything, I went with 3 different products and chose to buy the one I liked best. However, if you're going to expand, you'll need to make plans. In the new product, you are given a vacuum sealed package, so you will find the panels flat when you open them. They require some time to expand. I opened the package, laid the panels out, and let it sit for a few hours. It appeared that some were good, while others were deformed and only part of them expanded. I played around with the ones that had expanded as I had time and really liked the ones that were already expanded. Ideally, they should all expand with time, but since it's a dense foam, a little help may be required sometimes. I let one side that wouldn't expand sit on water for a day or two and then wet down the side that was not expanding. Right out of the blue. As to the summation
If you have some flexibility, this product offers the best reduction of noise among the ones I ordered, the best value, and is very easy to work with once As a result, if you do not have the space to lay out the panels in order for them to expand, you should think about other products or buy spares.
