With these tiles, I've finally put the finishing touches on my home office. This wall took 6 packages of tiles altogether and was super easy to put up with foam mounting tape. Using a good, sharp craft/utility blade makes the job easy, and I also have a safe-cut ruler with a cutter that made clean, precise cuts without any trouble. During the unpacking and cutting of the wood, some dust and lint was left behind, but this was In all the time that I have had these tiles on the wall and vacuumed, I haven't seen any extra dust. It appears that they are no longer available but I like the way they look and feel. I got the divided tiles that make a very cool cubical pattern. The wall definitely deadens the sound, though not completely so it's not a perfect test case, but it's still less good than I expected in that regard.

While I was working from home during the pandemic, I was looking for ways to reduce the amount of background noise that was coming in my office. Along with the other items discussed below, these tiles did a fantastic job reducing the amount of noise that was coming in. Please let me know how many papers you need. Using 24 tiles, I was able to completely cover the walls (i. e. No gaps needed) a standard interior door (32" x 80"), with a couple of tiles and some scraps left over. You can see a picture so that you can get a sense of what that might look like.
ACOUSTIC EFFICIENCY The tiles significantly reduce sound at the sites where they are placed, but whether they affect sound reduction enough to meet your needs will depend on whether there are other ways for sound to enter the room. As obvious as that is, they won't be able to eliminate or reduce sound coming through gaps that they are not These should drastically reduce the amount of sound coming through the wall if it is coming through a wall. the sound is coming from a door, as was the case in my case, these tiles are the first thing you need to fix it, but you may want to seal any gaps around the door as well, depending on your situation. Colors *BROWN*BLUE COLOR As you can see in the attached picture, I purchased white tiles for the project. The temperature is neither hot nor cold). The quality control process is as follows The one tile I received was smudged on its facing side by an obvious black streak that would not come away with a quick wipe. As a result, I was able to use the scrap material around the door edges. Cutting - *br/*br/ The right tool for the job was a standard box cutter, ideally with a fresh blade. It has been my experience that scissors are not the right On my part, I traced the edges of the paper with a pencil, then made successively deeper cuts with the box cutter until the paper was cut, which took me about fifteen minutes. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. Even after removing the fitting from the door handle so that I could trace the circle, I was able to mount it perfectly around the handle with some careful measuring and measuring again. *IMPORTANT MOUNTING INFORMATION My decision to go with Scotch was influenced by suggestions in various comments A double-mounted indoor heater The following is the definition of 314H--Sided Mounting Tape Size MED, 1 inch x 125 inches. Sound isolation would be improved with foam mounting tape, because the cells in the foam and the gaps it creates between the door and tile fill the air gaps. My solution was to cut off five squares from the roll (four in the corners and one in the middle), each less than 1" in size, and I still had plenty of tape left after I finished it. There have been no tile issues after 2 months of opened and closed doors, although I've noticed that a few of the scrap pieces along the edge where I used less tape have become a bit loose, so I might need to add some more tape. Here's the link THE MATERIALS INCLUDE I was able to hear sounds coming through my office door after installing the tiles, but not through the tiles themselves. Instead, I was hearing sounds coming through the gaps between the door and the jamb and the I looked at Neoprene and found that it seemed the best choice, so I purchased a few rolls of White Foam Weather Stripping in various sizes to fit the variously-sized neoprene pieces My office door has a gap the size of a quarter. you measure each of your gaps carefully, since neoprene does not compress much and the adhesive WILL scratch the paint off your door if you remove it later (e. g. Due to a 1/8" thickness tape on the hinge side, the door wouldn't close properly after that. "). if you want additional sound insulation for your door, I HIGHLY recommend it. It was added to the top, left, and bottom sides of the door in my case, as shown in the attached photograph. Here's the link When both the tiles and the tape were in place, my office door was converted I feel like I am sealing myself off from the outside world when that door closes, making a sucking sort of sound. I was surprised by how quiet it is. It took me until I opened the door that I realized my wife was watching movies at home theater volume in the room across our hallway from my office. My response to her knocking on the door is usually audible to me, but I have to practically shout "come in" for her to hear me. Finally, here is the final word Starting here is a great way to get soundproofing for your door - simply cover the door while ensuring no gaps exist, then see how it works. I mentioned above that you may need additional isolation, so you might check out the tape.

I liked how easily they mounted on a wall and how nice they look. Since they do not include any way of mounting them, I simply did the job myself by nailing a single pin nail through the center of each to attach them to If a hexagon is positioned next to another hexagon, it prevents The sound they produce in my home office is minimally suppressed due to some higher frequencies and they assist in reducing echo, but I wish they were more dampened. They came in two batches each with a different depth of chamfer, so they don't match in the exact same manner, but they're close enough that I can spot the difference. Because it was the cheapest option of a similar product, I decided to purchase it.

When I was a kid, my office was like an echo chamber. This morning, as I was on a call, my client mentioned the sound was better, without me urging him to do so. My panels were double-sided and I used double-sided tape to install them They come rolled in a tube). It did not work for me at first, even though I thought a little would be able to achieve the goal. The best way to make panels was with 7 pieces each. In addition to their sound absorption qualities, I also like the aesthetics of these panels. It looks cool with the honeycomb look! Delivery within a short period of time. This is a product I strongly.

As a wall covering for video conferencing, it definitely served our purposes of removing imperfections from a large wall and creating a visually pleasing backdrop. In addition to being low mass and lightweight, it is rather stiff as well. It is as if you are buying thick felt.
If you buy those tiles with smaller diamonds, you can use a sharp pen knife to cut them out and create an interesting pattern, allowing paint to pass through the wall substrate. The colors of the wall in my case were medium grey and beige. There was a black tile and a light gray tile in the store. A random pattern of light grey, medium grey, and black is formed between the gaps in these shades. This is a favorite among the public!.

In order to make my new man cave more spacious, I bought four neutral tone tiles I am in the process of putting together my cave room. It was an excellent choice for the design element I was going for and went well with the tiles. I used 3-M adhesive to stick them to my textured wall and they worked perfectly Command strips in the M size. My approach involved using two large strips per tile, which I understand was overkill, but I wanted to make sure these tiles didn't fall apart They were up till the wee hours of the night. This is so cool that now my son who is a gamer wants to do the same thing with his room. Generally speaking, we can say the following The product is of excellent quality This is a highly recommended book.

Using one 24x pack, an 8ft door could be covered with a lovely pattern. You can use spray adhesive to attach pegboard to the inside of doors so you can remove it easily In combination with the weatherstrip on the door jam and the door sweep, now I can host exec meetings at home without any toddler distractions. The razor blade is easy to use when scoring and cutting.

Considering the price, this is not a bad deal. Each unit is well made, well-built, and of an equal size. The colors on the wall are pleasant and look good on the wall as a whole. As you can see, there appears to be a significant reduction in echoing in the room. I just covered one wall and the door for now, to test whether or not it worked. This is a simple, inexpensive solution to securing each unit with just a few pieces of heavy duty foam tape. I used 3M double sided heavy duty foam tape (4941) for this.
