It was very simple to install and use these. First of all, you will need to follow the instructions included in the package to get them back to full size since they are shipped in a vacuum-sealed bag. A pancake can be sealed in a package and then become flat after extrusion. If you have time, you can hang them out to dry if you don't want to use the dryer. The instructions say to soak them, ring them out, and then toss them in the dryer for a few minutes. They don't get their shape back when they're dried, that part is just to remove moisture. I then used an electric carving knife to cut each tile into four pieces and glued them onto particle board wood with spray adhesive. It went really well, the foam stayed on really well, though I was able to reposition a few of them without much difficulty. Make sure not to tear the foam by tugging gently.

At first, I was irritated when I got the box and saw how thin the panels are (like paper thin), so I closed it. Thanks to my 7-year-old, who said, "maybe there are instructions in here!" We did indeed see a small sticker that gave us two options for the setup. If the panels are wet, soak and dry them or let them sit for 24 hours After 48 hours, we chose to soak and dry and we immediately noticed that, as soon as the foam hit the water, it doubled in size. We let it sit for 10 minutes and threw it in the dryer as directed. Eventually I'll finish it and take photos to show you! I'm planning to utilize the foam to make my headboard (not a typical application).
