the stereo should be turned off! I use balanced XLR for everything and am sick of paying high prices for "gimmicky" BS cables. My friend, a semi-pro football player, These were recommended to me by a retired professional sound engineer, mixer, and producer. Excellent sound quality, as well as a solid build quality (superb spring reinforcements at cable ends). I sandwiched a pair of these between my OPPO multi-function device and a pair of these between my OPPO multi-function device and a pair I couldn't believe my HiFiman HEX v2 headphones could sound any better with my Cavalli hybrid tube headphone amplifier and disc/streaming player! They were subtle changes, to be sure, but they were noticeable regardless of how subtle they were! Believe me when I say that's HIGH PRAISE coming from a HiFi snob like myself. Is it really only $35 for a pair of shoes? WTF? I sincerely hope that this review was HELPFUL?.
They are successful. I wasn't sure if buying cables on Amazon was a good idea. However, this was a high-quality product that worked well with the Phantom power supply I purchased and my Rode NT1 microphone. They're small enough that they don't make a mess on my desk. It appears to have been well-made. There are no issues.
I have several of these, which I used in a church sound system. Because of all of the changes, I've had to buy three times. There are five more two-packs left, and they're all great. The spring strain reliever does an excellent job of making all of the cables look neat and uniform as they enter the brush panels. I'll be buying these again for future projects!.
I used to use some instrument cables to get the monitors to work, but every time I turned them on, I got this horrible interference sound (which was even worse when I was playing a game). I ordered these balanced cables, and the electrical interference is no longer present. I'm glad I was able to acquire these.
Both of them were immediately connected to my M-Audio JBL 305PMKII monitors. They're called Audio Pro Duo, and they're fantastic! The only thing about the cable that I'm not sure about is whether the guard that prevents the cable from bending/breaking at the XLR connection is supposed to move/spin a little. However, I figure that even if they don't, they won't move once they're plugged in, so they're good to go! 🤷.
I needed a pair of quarter-inch TRS to XLR male cables to connect my Behringer HD 400 to my mixer. I had a buzzing problem, and these cables fixed it! The cord is of excellent quality as well. My setup has a lot of nooks and crannies, and I don't think the cable construction will wear out over time.
It has a plastic feel to it, but it appears to be made of metal, and the casing is loose. I'm not sure how well these will age.
I bought this cable to connect a soundboard with 1/4in outputs to a camera with female XLR inputs, and I'm pleased with the sound and the cable's durability so far. I'll update this listing if anything goes wrong later, but for now, I'm happy with the results.
