I like this mixer a lot! I have had no problems with it. Currently own its little brother, the DL1608 as well, and it is flawless. As a result, I now have additional effects, more channels, and additional auxes, as well as the ability to make multiple units I can think of some things, including track recordings. Currently, I am running a small consulting business A company that produces audio. Since I use the iPad control surface with my digital mixer, I no longer need to haul and set up a multichannel snake and effects rack - that's saved me at least 30 minutes a day. I don't have to concentrate on one spot. I can move around the venue and leave my set whenever I feel like it. With a simple design, a large mixer and effect rack will take up very little room on your floor. You no longer have to worry about patrons tripping over multiple levels Until now, the only drawback I've encountered is when I work with bands that have their own sound person and they don't know how to use an iPad for mixing. Then again, it may not be a huge drawback after all.

Pro audio guy for 25 years, and I've used Mackie gear for that entire period. Sometimes they've gotten good and sometimes they've gotten bad in quality, but they're often the best for their purposes There is no doubt that this is one of those situations. Although there are a gazillion wireless mixers on the market, Mackie has the best interface, and the lowest price to performance ratio in this category. Even at large venues, I use it with an Apple Airport Extreme I bought from a friend for cheap, and it works flawless on my iPad Mini 2 (requires an adapter) and iPhone.

The same thing happened when I adjusted the volume from a class room down the hall just to be sure that it would work and I was still able to hear it immediately. I really like the AP because it's easy-to-use and has a lot of I wish it were possible to operate the board with an Android device rather than an iOS device, since there are some good YouTube videos that explain how to set up and get use to the board.
