Selected User Reviews For Cable Matters Premium Braided 12AWG Speaker Cable Compatible with Speakon NL4FC Port in 3 Feet
This cable is no exception to Cable Matters' reputation for high-quality cables. I am using a Behringer NX3000D amplifier going to a Dayton Audio Um18- 18" A Full Marty cabinet holds a 22-watt subwoofer. So I cut open the cable. Turns out I was only in need of speakon to bare wire. In this case, two steel wires, red and black, are individually sleeved, encased in rubber sleeves, with a braided covering. A gauge that appears to be substantial would suggest it is copper of a high quality. I tested the speakon connector with an amplifier and found it to work well.
The pros are It looks like the cable and connectors are of high quality and heavy-duty. At this price, it is rare to find speaker cables with 12 AWG. I don't like how the assembly was A problem with audio was found on two of the four cables. It turned out that the screws securing the wires to the connectors were loose when I opened the ends. There were a number of loose strain lock nuts, as well. Once all ends have been checked, oiled, and tightened, we have a set of cables that have high quality and function Those who are willing to spend a little time with a screwdriver will end up with great cables at a great price. The ones who aren't willing or unequipped to do so should shop elsewhere for.
I like its flexible and pliable 12 gauge textile covered conductors. The ends were all correct and snug. I checked the wiring and the construction details. To connect two VBSS subs made with Rockville RVW1800P4 [drivers to a Behringer NX3000D in my living room, I cut it in half. It is a mind blowing system, and this part is awesome!.
A quality braided jacket and nice connectors make this cable a very good one to work with. As you may find (for instance) need to tighten the screws, cut off a small section of the connector, or swap it out for an angled connector, the connectors are very easy to take apart and reconnect. This sub is an excellent sub! If I get another sub to run off my amp, I'll be ordering another one!.
Taking out a new mono-bridge cable was necessary because my previous one was generating static and noise. Previous reviews gave me an indication of what I should look for. it is a recent purchase, I am not sure how well it will hold up- An expression. I have my first impressions of it being well constructed and very To meet the power needs, we need a power supply that is powerful enough. My setup is an Ampeg SVT 4Pro running through an Ampeg 4x10 speaker cabinet. We obtained satisfactory results from the early tests we performed in our practice room. The durability of the device will depend on how it performs during transport to gigs, plugging in.
The audio system I'm using consists of an Ampeg SVT 4 Pro paired with an Ampeg 8x10 cabinet, which is now pretty loud. The sound quality is excellent, and I find it to be superior to the Speakon adapters I was using with standard speaker cables.
I use this for my Fender Rumble 115 speaker cab to connect to my Fender Rumble 800 Stage amplifier. The cable is nice and thick and strong. I am very pleased with it.
I got it for a great price! When I replaced the 8' I found that the 10' was cheaper, longer, and better quality than the one I replaced. You need to buy this cable! You should check the Speakon cable, as there are at least two kinds (at this moment), so make sure you order the right.
