How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Six mic sends and two multipurpose balanced TRS sends are included in this compact design.
As a drum snake, it's fantastic. The 1/4-inch sends can be used to send line out signals from a drum module or as a headphone output.
Use in the studio and return to the musicians with two separate stereo monitor feeds.

Questions & Answers

Can I connect my main powered speakers to the two send cables?

Yes, you can, though your signal may be weak. One of them serves as the active floor foldback speaker for my system. It works fine, but it sounds better when plugged directly into a power outlet.

I'd like to connect two mono modules to the snake and then output to my mixer. Is it okay if I use mono cables on the snake end?

The connectors are 1/4" TRS on both ends. They are monogamous by nature, and I only use mono once a week. br>TRS can also be used to run stereo (with the appropriate splitters on the ends), but this is not recommended. TRS 1/4" can easily bleed if it is not properly shielded or grounded.

Is this snake cable UL (riser) rated for use in in-home applications? What are your ideas for wall art?

Because the jacks protrude from the sides, it must be sat on the ground. It's possible to mount it on the wall, but not to recess it.

On your receipt, look over all of your connectors
4/5

The construction appears to be sturdy, and I intend to use it, but one of the xlr inputs is inoperable. The XLR receptacle appears to have been shifted during assembly and is therefore unrepairable. The XLR connector is riveted to the assembly, so there's no easy way to fix it other than drilling those out, seeing if the plug can be salvaged, and bolting or riveting it back together. I didn't return it right away because I figured I could undo the screws and fix it myself. I was in desperate need of it. Rivets, on the other hand, had a different idea. Before you hold on to it, double-check all of the connections. Apart from that, it's a fantastic book. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: I contacted HOSA because why not, and even though it was out of warranty, they replaced it without hesitation (since the problem was obvious). I can't really complain about that. Service was exceptional.

It's perfect for our mobile church set-up! I've been using this thing every week since I bought it over a year ago and have had no problems with it

It's well-made and extremely useful in the studio
5/5

This device is surprisingly well constructed - The studio will benefit from a solid heavy metal breakout box and high-quality Hosa cabling. I've read other reviews that say the cables aren't as robust as they'd like, but when you have 8 cables running in one sheath, the extra 8 layers of insulation aren't needed. They're about the same size as the insides of most instrument and audio cables.

It's ideal for use in the studio or as a drum sub

snake. This is a nice little sub- snake. It's not heavy duty enough for setting up and tearing down every weekend in a band situation, so I'd recommend it for a permanent installation. However, it works perfectly.

This is an excellent product for the price, and it has performed admirably thus far

I'll have to come back in a year or so to add more feedback and confirm that this is a long-lasting product. I would strongly advise you to use it for your music needs.

Setup Ease Has Significantly Improved
5/5

We use these stakes to make setting up our portable stage and sound system easier. There are 6 XLR instrument send/receive jacks and 2 1/4 instrument send/receive jacks on the board. The cables that stretched across the stage were cleaned up by using two of these. They've been working flawlessly for a month. Advantages: br>br> br> Eliminates stage cord clutterbr> Improves ease of setup and setup timebr> Professional level audio cablingbr>br>Absolutely no complaints about these snakes!.

After 31 uses, it had gone bad
3/5

After being re-rolled after being unrolled, One of the TRS channels developed a short after being rolled exactly 31 times; I'll try another after finding a vendor (unrelated to Amazon) who offers a two-year warranty. a one-year warranty.
