No, the Alesis 25 pin sub D connection format is not the same as the Tascam format used by this snake.
Doubtful because the Alesis sub D connector format differs from the tascam format used on this snake.
Hosa offers a variety of 3', 6', and 12' cables with 1/4" connectors on both ends in a variety of configurations. Use their balanced TRS cable if you need to go into a Sub 25 pin connector and out to 1/4". In today's world, most hardware will ignore the lack of a ground and operate on the remaining two wires. Everything will be fine if you stay under 12'; in fact, you could use a TRS to TRS for 1/4" TS connections and that would be fine as well.

Our church was looking for a way to repurpose some ten-year-old furniture. year- For our video streaming, we used old Aviom equipment as an audio digital snake. To go with our input module, we found an Aviom Output Module on eBay. The Aviom Output Module has two eight-channel outputs. For the audio, there are two DB25 sockets per channel. The Hosa DTP803 was the perfect finishing touch to the connection. We're only using eight channels right now, but the DTP803 could easily handle the remaining 16 channels. br>br>The DTP803 appears to be robust enough to be used in a fixed-mount application. a situation of placement - It's possible that it won't hold up to frequent temporary use. Strain relief is not provided on the cables that enter the 1/4" plugs. They will be in a fixed position in our application. I anchored the snake cable to the mixer with velcro to relieve any stress on the 1/4" connections.
I usually avoid Hosa products, but I couldn't justify spending $200 on the Mogami version of this DB25 cable. Normally, things like better shielding come at a higher price, but I'm not getting any interference with these Hosa DB25s. The TRS side feels a little flimsy, but that's not a big deal for me because these will be in a patchbay in my studio and won't be used frequently. You should be fine if you don't treat your gear like a caveman. br>br>In terms of tone, I'd be surprised if you could tell the difference. They have a fantastic sound. Don't hesitate to buy.
This is what I got for my SSL SIX. There are no problems, and the product performs exactly as it should.
It was disappointing. I got this the other day and gave it a good look. It was too small for my colossal ASUS ROG 17" laptop - a computer that has a hard time fitting anything in it. The bag itself has a single main compartment and a small number of additional pockets. The lower power supply pocket, which was quite large (even for my Brick-sized PS), was one of my favorites. Despite the fact that the lid design could easily accommodate a pocket, it did not - In my opinion, this was a lost opportunity. Finally, despite the fact that this pack is presented as being capable of carrying a laptop and a number of additional pieces, the backpack was not as capable as my Swiss Army pack which.
If I were on the road with these, the shrink wrap would be a little less tight and durable, but I'm not. And I can't think of anything I don't like about this fixed installation. They were the closest length I could get (and I didn't have to wire them myself, which was a plus!). ), the connectors are long-lasting for their intended use (regular plugging and unplugging). I ended up buying three of them for a 24-channel board and couldn't be happier with the price!.
Following that, there were two more. There are no issues. These snakes are superior to the other "budget" snakes in terms of quality and price. The connectors are solid and seem to last a long time. br>Okay, Hosa isn't known for making great cables, but don't they make pretty much everything you need? Isn't it true that they pretty much do what you want? Isn't it true that we've all got a slew of their cables? Without a doubt. br>In a dimly lit studio crammed in behind your racks, the color coding system of these snakes makes sense. It allows you to quickly plug in your equipment in the correct order and get set up in less time. You also won't have to be concerned about the small numbers rubbing off on your clothes. They are excellent, in my opinion. I'm going to order some more right now. 3. . . 2. . . 1 are the first three letters of the alphabet.
Three of them are used to connect mic preamps to the interface. They are error-free in their operation. To avoid cable congestion, I prefer a shorter cable version without the rubber cover.
At a very reasonable price, I was able to get the correct DB connection for my Presonus Rack mount mixer, and so far there have been no issues.
