It's a pleasant feeling when you get what you pay for, it's almost like you just got something for free since it doesn't happen too often. As for the cables themselves, they met my expectations in terms of thinni ng down my clunky pedal layout- they have nearly flat heads (the stamp on the metal casing is beautiful) and having them backwards makes them compact - something my pedal layout lacks. Now that I have a more compact design, I can make a better pedal. Regarding signal and sound quality and shielding, there is a definite difference between these and my previous patch cables--there was always this helicoptering whistling interference I was always adjusting levels and moving things around until it was gone, but now it seems like it has totally disappeared. I believe that these cables are well worth the money (the 3-pack The cables each measure 6" in length). It would be remiss of me not to mention the durability If only things worked the way they're supposed to (! all surprises were good. . . I would rate it 5+ stars.
Although these are intended to be used in U-shapes, they function well in that configuration as well, but if you have pedals that require a twist in the cable, these aren't a good choice. You will probably need a more flexible cable for these, but they will work.

A family member received this as a gift. The product has been working fine for almost a year and has been heavily used (including in live concerts). The construction of the building is excellent, and the quality overall is excellent.
I like how well made and how well it works. I had been looking for a way to chain my pedals together, but this is exactly what I needed. In the future, I will buy more to grow my board.
