Since I discovered Hosa brand flat pancake jack patch cables, I have been using them for a good while. They are a great way to get the pedals all close together without running too much cable and are quite But after a couple years, they began to wear out and fail. Then, I realized they aren't as durable as they seem. Consequently, I decided it's time to upgrade my patch cables and get some good quality name brand I had gotten a few free with a pedal before and after I hooked up every pedal and patch cable in my board, I had a noticeable improvement in signal clarity. The shielding is still perfect, and these cables are much thicker and larger than the ones I had before. They allow me to fit all my pedals in close together, and the length is just right. In addition to looking cool, they also function well. The aesthetic element of a well-designed pedalboard is definitely enhanced when all the pedals are from the same brand, and that brand happens to be This is a highly recommended book.
The pedals do not lose signal between themselves, which happens more often than not Besides looking good and feeling solid, I only play them at home and don't remove them very often, so I cannot comment on their durability. They are an ideal solution for board widths that are small or cramped as they are flat I only use micro and standard pedals which a mixture of flat heads. My pedals are not too wide [seems like a problem some people have] because I use micro pedals and standard pedals simultaneously. It is no surprise that Dunlop keeps delivering year after I just plug them into my pedalboard and they work perfectly. This is the first time that (Dunlop) has failed me. In the case of other manufacturers, I cannot make that statement. Failed cables generally occur at the worst time and can be a headache to repair. Investing in Dunlop is definitely worth the money, and you will get quality at a great price.
There will be a pinch on the 9v power plug in the center of a pedal with input, output, and 9v input all on the top. Cables for those need to be standard 90 degrees. I'm a little OCD, so I hate the fact that I can't use the same patch cable for all.
My stereo pedals have heads too large to fit two cables close together, so I am running them only with one cable. I will have to find something else to replace my stereo pedals. They are well made, and should last a long time.
Using this instead of my pedalboard patches and it helps a lot. The quality of this recording is just incredible! It sounds amazing, looks great, and looks neat. The slim jacks allowed me to add another pedal since they took up less space.
It was finally time to upgrade to I think it is worth the slight price increase. The issue with buzzing has now been resolved.
You won't regret spending the money. It is important that you choose a cord with great quality that is serviceable and Quality of the highest standard. They are great, and I'm extremely happy.
