MIDI Cable with 5 Pin DIN Plugs 3 Feet (ft) Black

It's a MIDI cable, to be precise. It performs as expected. When it comes to the cable itself, it's quite flexible and just a tad on the thin side. The connector is small, but it's not always clear which way you should turn the cable to connect it, unlike some more expensive cables that have molded grips on the connector ends that help you figure out which side is top or bottom. This will suffice for my home studio. br>br> I don't think it'll last long on the road or if you use it a lot. I don't use MIDI cables very often, and when I do, I make sure they're properly wrapped and protected from being pulled, stepped on, and otherwise mistreated. br>br>This cable is as good as any for connecting two pieces of gear via MIDI. If you're going to travel with it or expose it to a lot of wear, you should get something a little more durable. Still a 4/5 because it does the job, and a more expensive cable would have provided no additional benefits besides durability.

If you're going to be gigging and unplugging your gear a lot, invest in heavy duty cables. These are fine for home use.
