All you need is a 1/4 " cable to connect these adapters, either balanced or unbalanced depending on what kind of 1/4 " cable you are using. The pack I have and use all the time works well for me. Not my product, but I have a pack of them.

My mentality is similar to that of many novices who fear they will never fully grasp all what is involved in the process. These were intended to be used to connect my guitar to the XLR input of my PA system, but I shouldn't have purchased them for this purpose. There is no good match between the unbalanced 1/4 inch plug of the gutar cable and the impedence of the xlr socket -- So it doesn't matter which pickup I switch from on the guitar, once plugged in there is a boom with every click, and when I turn the volume knobs on the guitar there is a crackle and pop. When I attached the guitar to the 1/4 inch line input, the problem did not occur. Until I learned of the power incompatibility and the result of impedence, I was perplexed. Although I did have an older mike with a 1/4 inch plug, I have also used an older mike with It was looking like this mic was a dead duck because it had very little volume even when I adjusted the input from line to mic, but when I plugged it into one of these babies and ran it through the XLR input, it came back to life! The volume was just right! Additionally, I learned that to correct the problem with the guitar interfacing through the XLR connector, I would need to buy a "DI Box". Amazon has a number of these boxes. A copy of it hasn't yet arrived, even though I ordered it. In my review of this product, I'll reveal the results of the test.
Price is the lowest. These are worth the money There were a lot of vendors and electro-mechanical stores online that seemed to have the best price on pro audio adapters, but none of them had the best price online Stores that specialize in geek products. It makes sense that the guy who complained about loose screws should have an audio technician use a special tool called a screwdriver, as the boat ride from China made them a little loose. There is something to be said about having them as a six There may be a strange reason why pack would be more appropriate.
No one of the 5 pieces would be able to receive the male counter part in the 1/4" TRS opening. A 1/4" drill bit was needed to open the end of the rod to the correct size. One piece of the rod didn't work, so I opened it up and there was a broken wire. It doesn't appear that it can be repaired. As soon as I opened the holes to 1/4", I tested the four pieces and they seemed to fit perfectly. We will see what happens in the future. It wouldn't be a good idea to use.
The best of both worlds! This is what I used to plug my cheap condenser lapels into, and it worked like a charm! They are crisp and have phantom power! Thanks a lot!.
The cable works pretty well with my Cordana ukulele and the strings are not staticky. Only thing was that the adapter was loose around the 1/4 " connector, but it didn't affect the sound in any way. The price is reasonable and the quality is excellent.
There are times when I need to connect my Panasonic HC-W to a 1/4 plug There is an XLR connector on the X1000 camera. To use this adapter, you will need one like Before using the adapter, make sure you turn off the phantom power on any XLR device.
I'd rather not use it on stage. The monitor was supposed to be a stage monitor, but it didn't work. The set went on and on until I fell out halfway through.
Although it is not the best thing to use to convert from TRS or TS to XLR (female), it is an excellent item to have in case of an emergency. While listening to my mix, I noticed a little buzzing, although I am not sure whether it was related to the mix channel. It will not be needed for my new mixer (XR18) since the first 16 channels come with dual XLRs and TRS/TS inputs.
