Questions & Answers

You can connect this to an iPhone and record videos with two microphones, can't you?

Assuming your iPhone has an audio output plug, you'd be in need of a "Smartphone / PC Combo Jack Mic &amp Speaker" Adapter This product divides your headphones between your iPhone and your tablet. A microphone plug can be accessed through that hole. Firstly, I'd recommend one dynamic microphone. Next, I would recommend using a splitter cable or mixer to experiment with

Great, except for the fact they have a backwards wiring
3/5

The overall build quality and mechanics ("ruggedness") of this phone are good, but there is In both cases, both XLRF are set There was an error in the labeling of 5 mm TRS. The red XLRF was labeled Ring (but went to the tip) while the black XLRF was labeled Tip (but went to the tip). You are right, once you realize this, it is relatively easy to correct. When you have a large number of patch cables (there can be dozens), this defect can be a real pain. I should certainly be able to get them refunded via Amazon, but I'll simply It would be nice if the "manufacturer" (Cable Matters) heard why the product isn't working, so they can make changes. I would rate the quality as 6 stars (yes, out of 5) if it were not for this defect.

Two XLRFs are used to create three
3/5

There are no XLR ends on the 5mm TRS (the ends are labelled incorrectly). My cable was received this morning, and I tested it. As far as the cable materials (for an installation that will last permanently) are concerned, they seem to be adequate. There is a problem with the cable's wiring The TRS sleeve is 5mm long & is connected to pins 1 & 2 The tip of one XLR is attached to pin 2, the ring to ping 2 or the other XLR). Nonetheless, the serial numbers for the XLR plug ends are faulty. A wire should be connected to the XLR marked "RING" and highlighted in "RED. " A 3mm TRS ring is used in place of the 5mm TRS ring. TRS TIP with 5mm diameter. A line must be attached to each of the XLRs labeled "TIP" and "BLACK" in a similar manner. Rather than being connected to the 3mm TRS tip, this wire is hooked up to the 5mm. The ring is 5mm in diameter. This is why. The wiring is okay and the cable is functional, but the labeling is wrong and cannot be changed by the user easily. We are disappointed, and our rating has been reduced from five stars to three It is fair to rate your work at 3 on a scale of 1-5. It is possible that the cables are manufactured by non-US companies Are there people who read or speak English?.

The products are of high quality, not made in a mold
5/5

A very high level of construction It's all nicely done, with shrink tube covering the connectors. You can open them and see the solder work. There are two color symbols for the channel (white for left, red for right) as well as shrink tube labels for the tip and ring on each module. Regardless of the quality of the cable, the jacket appears to contain some silicon. There was no noticeable noise on the cable.

A high grade The quality is very high, and the price is very reasonable
5/5

Professional services of the highest quality The cable served its purpose well and has a high grade. The product is made from a heavy-duty material You can separate the XLR connectors with this flexible zipcord of the right gauge as far as you need. The cable feels sturdy and has a good heft to it. Connectors are made of high-quality materials There was even shrink-wrapping involved to ensure quality As far as possible, tube protection should be applied to solder joints. A big plus for me is how well marked and labeled the breakout XLR connectors are and we even get a rubber gasket on the locking mechanism to ensure a tight seal. It had to work well with a sound mixer and a computer, and I didn't want to break the bank for it. The two connectors on this page are female XLR connectors, which are needed to connect the output from a mixer or other device to the An input cable with a 5mm male connector is required. The new purchase has been a very good investment for me.

This is a great mixer Make sure that your DJ mixer comes with both XLR and RCA outputs
5/5

Recording can be achieved by connecting an RCA cable to a sound card. In the past, I used a combination of XLRs and RCA plugs to plug my large PA speakers, but now it's all COVID My big rig is not up to the task at the moment. As an alternative, I connected a small 2 to this cable. This is a single sound system for use in the home.

I found it to be perfect for streaming! My aim was to get professional audio output from a professional audio mixer, which had four XLR inputs, into a streaming hardware that only had three inputs
