Questions & Answers

Is it possible to link the xlr out to the mic in with this cable?

When the XLR out connects to a female jack and the mic in connects to a In addition to being a source, a mic is an output as well. There seems to be something going from the mic to an output of some sort. I am not sure what exactly you are doing?

This is intended to be connected to a microphone input in an auditorium. Can this be used to input a PA mic in an auditorium?

Microphones typically require an XLR female connection, so this isn't necessarily designed to connect to them. There is a 1/8 TRS to an XLR male cable in this bundle. The majority of users will most likely use this cable as an Aux cable to connect phones or laptop audio to a mixing desk for the purpose of connecting music.

As a result of this cable, my computer and television audio have been damaged. I'm using 2 different cables to connect my computer and TV and now I can't hear anything out of either one. What is the significance of this?

A REPLY FROM THE A FEW THOUGHTS ON CABLE SUBSTITUTES Please accept our condolences about the issues you are having with your 3 system. Plug your XLR connector to a 5mm plug! The cable cannot burn audio on a computer or TV, and it cannot burn audio on a cable box. Are you currently working on your computer? What are the chances of this working on my Mac?

With a 3, it means you have an A. It's an easy matter to connect the other end (XLR) to your active speaker, as the 5 mm out on your mac is already available.

Excellent cable for the price
5/5

This cable has a male XLR plug that has a "Neutrik" style plug at one end and a gold-plated connector at the other end. A male miniature plated with gold Featuring stereo on one end, well-insulated and flexible cable on the other. There is nothing to complain about Please be sure you know what you will receive and what you will need. There is a three conductor cable at that end with typical TRS (tip/ring/sleeve) wiring At the other end, the wiring is mono XLR without balance. This cable can be used to take a stereo feed from, for example, a TV. In other words, the unit takes an unbalanced signal from the headphone jack of an iPod or similar device and combines it into a mono signal that can be connected to a single input in an amplifier A mixing board or amplifier with XLR inputs is recommended. Panning this feed to the center will get rid of the stereo separation.

It has been revised (review)
5/5

I really like it. At first, I had complained about distortion, as I think many other reviewers have. But what makes my complaint especially embarrassing is that I am an audio engineer by background. There's some rust in me (I'm rusty). In order to reduce distortion, listen critically to line level and mic level signals. There are substantial volume differences between the two. The signal can be taken at line level or higher It is expected that distortion will result if you do not. Although I understand these concepts, I initially jumped into my review with a critical mindset, which I apologize for. I am posting these findings to provide support to other reviewers who have experienced a similar experience, just in case anyone out there may benefit.

Every time I plug it in, it emits a hum in response to the feedback
3/5

In closing, I have to say that I am not a scientist or a sound person, and I have zero qualifications on this type of product, but here is what I know. I connect this to my iPad Pro and attach the other end to the microphone cord in the wall, so that I can use it on Sunday mornings. Video clips that are 2 to 5 seconds long are what I play During my Sunday lessons at church, I have lessons that last for three minutes. If I insert the iPad into the sound system before I plugged in the sound system, I hear some really awful clicking and humming sounds through the speakers. It is still there if I plug in the iPad first and then turn on the audio system, but it is far less noticeable. I usually find that muting the iPad eliminates most of the hum, but I need to turn on the volume when I watch a Due to the fact that I also use a microphone during class, I can't just turn off the sound system until the video clips begin to A neighbor lent me a cable for the first month I was teaching my class, and I just plugged in the cable, and I was set for the lesson. The reviews convinced me that I should get my own cable, so I chose this one. It would be easier if I didn't have to remember to mute the iPad, the sound system, turn on the iPad when playing video clips, then turn it back down when the clips are over, or that I didn't have to plug in items in a specific order. My neighbors' ten dollar cable works just as well as this one. But, it is effective, and since I only use it once a week, I will continue to use it, so that I can get my money's worth.

This is a good choice for your 1/8" - 1/4" There is a need for XLRs
5/5

Yes, it's just an eighth of an inch You must Since it has an XLR connector, it's probably just plain wrong to love it, but it works great and I would buy another one without hesitation. It is described in a way that I find annoying. There is no XLR to 1/8" connection as stated in the title. By converting the signal from your iPhone to an XLR signal, this cable can be used as a converter.

This cable is of high quality and is very useful
5/5

As opposed to so many cables that are bundled up like carrots and then twisted together, this cable is sent flat in a poly bag completely coil-up. Unlike many other cables, it unravels easily, like a guitar cable, and without all those kinks and bends that can occur over time with many other Your help is greatly appreciated! There are no complaints as far as the quality is concerned. It doesn't sound as if anything is lost. Not a hiss in sight. Neither a crackle nor a pop. I did not hear any There is no noise. Even a guitar cable has the same gauge and construction as this. No jiggling is present, and the connectors are firm. In addition, there are three. With the convenient step on its toe, a 5mm connector allows for devices with cases to be attached, including smartphones, players, and tablets. It was necessary to purchase this adapter cable in order to be able to connect my MP3 player to the XLR 1st channel input of my new Fender Acoustasonic 15 amp which does not have an auxiliary Easy to implement and quite effective, it's on the simple, low cost side. This style of cable is available in shorter lengths, but the 6-foot version is the most popular I am able to keep the player as far as I can from the amplifier by using a foot length, so that I am not bending down to use other controls as I play the.

The iPhone and other devices do not support this app
3/5

When I first returned the product, I said it was defective, but now I am convinced it was merely not designed for my needs Using an iphone stereo output, a Mackie SRM450 or a JBL EON Power15 powered by its XLR output was then hooked up. In order for me to hear both stereo channels, I wanted them to be combined on This product works great for me and I am very satisfied with it. It would be helpful if the store owner updated the product description to be more accurate. Wiring issues can be divided into two groups balanced and unbalanced. Tip and Ring are combined in this cable for use with XLR pins 2 and 3. When used with an iPhone or other 1/8" stereo source, this caused distortion. According to the product I purchased that works nicely, the pins are aligned as follows Tips for drivers You must The second is a resounding no You must The third sample is S You must You will find here a 3 way balanced XLR male connector. A stereo TRS cable with a 5mm connector. Continuity at the tip and ring with pins 2 and 3 is present. I am not giving this product a 5/5 because the product description (and its appropriate uses) are.
