The cord plugging into the guitar or amp is not an issue for me. The amp's sound quality is excellent.
This is incredible! This is not a rip-off. It's a beautiful instrument. It was purchased for my four-year-old nephew, who adores it. For the price, you can't go wrong.
It includes a cord for connecting the amplifier to the guitar, as well as the ability to connect headphones to the amplifier, but no microphone.

Purchased for my 7-year-old son to begin guitar lessons, it is perfect for beginners and of sufficient quality to keep his interest. It includes everything you need, including a guitar bag/case, extra strings, a pick, an amplifier, a cable, and straps. You don't need a wall jack because the amp runs on a 9-volt battery, but you can use a dc adapter if you prefer. It's a lovely color and has some weight to it; it's not a cheap lightweight. It has good-grip pegs to keep the pitch from slipping. I teach music and have to say that this little guitar has wowed me. My son won't be able to easily break this thing, and the strings are of good quality. I had no trouble tuning, and it was nice to have all six pegs on the same side of the guitar. This is a package that will not let you down. I'm a music teacher, and I'm pleased with the results.
This is fantastic! Guitar for the novice. To give a sense of scale, I included a photo of my son with it. He stands about 4ft3in tall and stands six feet tall. We did get a better cable to connect the guitar to the amplifier. (The one that came with it is fine, but my husband says a better quality one makes a big difference) And we'll eventually get a much better amp (he uses my husband's good one when they're not playing together) The amp that came with it is good, but it's just small. It's about the same height and length as my iPhone 8plus. But it was also VERY LOUD, and I was taken aback. It would be suitable for someone who is just getting started, but it is junk and only small. It runs on a 9v battery, but the sound quality suffers greatly when using one; it becomes very staticky and in and out. instead of a wall plug that produces a crisp, clear sound with no interference which each of us perched separately I wish it came with a wall power adapter, but it does not, and that is my only criticism of this instrument.
The guitar looks nice in general, but that is about the only thing it is good for. It's nearly impossible to play due to the poor fretting. (I've been playing for over a decade and couldn't get this thing to sound good) It doesn't hold its tune, the string spacing is a mile away from the fret board, and you can't adjust the truss rod (there isn't one to adjust). The bridge is apparently there for looks as well, as any adjustment made on that end just makes things sound and feel worse. Don't buy this item if you want your child's experience to be simple and enjoyable. Oh, and the amp is functional, so two stars overall. 1 for the guitar wall art and 1 for the amplifier.
I gave it five stars because I believe it was a good value at $56. It was purchased for my children, but it would also make an excellent travel guitar. I've been playing guitar for 24 years and am satisfied with the quality of the construction. It doesn't appear to have a truss rod (which is understandable given the $56 price tag and short scale), so I'll have to double-check the strings after tuning it. It makes a pleasant noise. The short scale of standard tuning makes pressing the strings a breeze. Before playing, be sure to stretch the strings thoroughly. For a 6-year-old, this is a fantastic starter guitar. The age of ten years.
"br>There are inconsistencies in the tuner keys: It won't stay in tune or tune correctlybr>Tuner keys slip and are VERY difficult to turnbr>br>Nut is too high, so any chords with open strings are out of tunebr>br> (This can be fixed by having the nut adjusted, which normally costs more than the guitar does. )br>br>Guitar had all the strings tuned to D, including the ones that should have been lower. The bent part of the string has now been loosened, reducing the string's longevity. br>br>I'm embarrassed to give this to my son as a present. Not only that, but they were over $10 cheaper just over a week ago! As a result, as we get closer to Christmas, the price is going up. br>br>Quality is generally poor: The seller appears to be exploiting the holiday season by raising prices, and the product itself is of poor quality.
This isn't a "real" guitar, to be sure. It's for kids who never clean up after themselves. However, for a young boy who wants to learn how to play the electric guitar, This is the most effective first step I've discovered. You will not be disappointed with the price, as the amplifier is small, which most parents will appreciate for the reasonable noise levels in the house.
This was purchased to be shared by the three and five-year-olds. Both are the ideal size. br>br>I play the guitar a little and am very pleased with the quality of this instrument. It's a screamer in every sense of the word. I scared the boys by playing too loudly, but it was still a good time. It maintains its pitch well, and the tuning machines are quiet. The volume control is of poor quality, scratchy, and jumpy, but it adjusts the volume between silence and mayhem. br>br>The amp that comes with it is small, but it's loud and grungy. I appreciate the extra strings, but the one that came with it is likely to last for years.
It's an excellent instrument for children. On this one, you wouldn't expect them to be the next Jimi Hendrix, but my kid is four years old. He can learn how to hold it properly, strum it, and make noise, and if he takes it seriously enough, we'll get him a real guitar. It came with the guitar, case, and amp, but none of the extras. There are no cables, straps, extra strings, or picks. My kid wouldn't have been able to play if I hadn't played and had a cable and picks. My recommendation is as follows: Before giving it as a gift, open it to see if you need to purchase the items that will be missing, or the child will be disappointed.
