For almost 40 years, I've been playing the guitar and bass. I'm not a professional musician, but I've been a member of a number of active original bands that have released five independent albums. My 7-year-old son has developed an interest in my guitars, but I'm not about to give him a Les Paul (the weight alone is too much for him). In 1982, I purchased my first guitar from the Sears catalog. It wasn't great, and the action was set so high that my fingers got caught between the strings at the higher frets (but I didn't know any better at the time, and I was leaning on my own). I chose this kit after doing some online research. I opened it as soon as it arrived and began inspecting all of the components. Everything works and is of good quality for the price; the guitar is well-built and appears to be exactly as shown. I was taken aback by the action, which, if not properly set, can seriously obstruct learning. It was clear that the guitar had been prepared ahead of time. tuned and had kept it in reasonably good condition (considering the thermal fluctuations it must have experienced during transit - It's the month of December - as well as while being stored). I had a lot of fun playing the instrument, which isn't a high-end instrument but is excellent for the price, and the amplifier is just right. Nobody wants to lose sleep over a 7-year-old playing guitar, and the amp has enough volume to have a good time without waking Grandma up. A headphone jack is also included. It has a lot of range (again, for the price), and the built-in distortion is quite nice (think early Black Sabbath, but with the ability to dial in more modern tones by adjusting the bass and treble). The clip-on tuner performed as expected and is extremely simple to operate. The strap serves its purpose and is appropriate for the occasion. Would I use this guitar on stage or in the studio? Sure, why not? It's a great instrument that does the job, and I had a lot of fun messing around with it. It's not flashy, but it's more than adequate for a beginner guitar kit. If this had been my first guitar, I would have learned to play much more quickly than I did with the one I had.
Is this a high-end instrument? Of course not, but if you're thinking about picking up the guitar, this is a great place to start. br>br>I have two fenders, a PRS, and an Ibanez Bass, all of which are worth $400. $1000. They definitely have a better sound and play than this. However, for $100, you will receive everything you require to begin. After switching to Super Slinky strings, I had a lot of fun with it. br>br>I purchased this for a member of my family who is interested in learning.
Although it is intended for children older than my two-year-old, he thoroughly enjoys playing it! The guitar in particular appeals to me. There are real strings and a lovely color and finish on this piece. The amplifier is also fantastic! This was a good investment! I would strongly recommend it to parents who, like me, dislike toy guitars with singing and music that plays automatically when a button is pressed. Although my son is only two years old, he is an advanced two-year-old who will be able to tell if something isn't real.
For his birthday, I bought him a good guitar, a Fender, which he'll keep at his Opa's house and learn on. This is something I bought for him to play with at home. It appeals to him greatly. He requested red, which is exactly what he got. He strews it all over the place. It's left outside. The sound does not change. However, I have no knowledge of guitars and am incapable of distinguishing between notes. All I know is that he loves it and has no idea how to play it but enjoys making noise; however, I thought the price was a little high for what it is. However, when it comes to toys, I always believe that. And, in my opinion, this is a toy.
For the price, it's a decent little guitar, and it'll make a great Christmas present for my toddler, who has been requesting a "real electric guitar. " The only thing I didn't like about it was how toxic the case and strap smelled, like formaldehyde and chemicals, so I removed them. It's obvious that it's made out of shoddy Chinese materials. Aside from that, it's a fun game for kids to play.
Whoever this person is, he's obviously not a good merchant to sell things because the product didn't even work and the speaker is blown as you can see in the video. I'm definitely going to ask for my money back and for the hassles something else compensation because that's I can't believe it even sold that to a customer satisfactions for his rating to go I treat them as heroes sorry but you had to know this was like this there's no way and don't even work for Pete sake.
The saddle screws are my only gripe. The saddle screws should be a little shorter on a string through bridge system (for intonation). I did, in fact, level the frets. The amp works fine, the gig bag is fine, but the guitar strap should've been pink. I recrowned them and applied boiled linseed oil to the fret board (which I do with all my guitars once a year, or shortly after they arrive. ) This small set is suitable for younger children who wish to begin learning to play the guitar. It's a hit with my grandchild, who chose it herself. loves it. If you have younger children, this would be an excellent gift to teach them how to play the guitar. The amp also has a headphone jack, so they can rock out without causing you to lose your mind. 😉.
