As an instrument for learning to play, this guitar surpassed my expectations. I got it for my 7 year old twins. Having held the guitar in my hands for a few days, I feel it is comfortable to hold and I am confident it will be able to withstand their rough treatment when they are first learning and experimenting. I already need to replace an already-broken pick, and I even expect that it will be necessary to replace the strings sooner or later with better strings after the two that come with the package are rough. It only has one complaint - the packaging. Otherwise, I would have given it four stars, but I only gave it three because of the packaging. In addition to the black guitar bag, the guitar was in a plastic bag and a thin foam There is a box made of single-ply cardboard that contains the amp. There is no protection for either the amplifier or guitar in the original packaging, so during shipping they will move around. Despite the fact that it was new, the guitar was not pre-tuned, and the box looked to be in poor condition. This was my first guitar - Although it plays, the guitar did have some fork lift damage on the back of the body and the box is damaged. The box looks to have been patched up well with tape but the guitar could not be repaired. The guitar had to be repackaged and replaced. The bag that came with my replacement guitar had a rip in it and was no longer usable. I received the guitar today. But the guitar plays well and sounds good as well. I'm very happy with my guitar and amplifier. This is a pretty good piece for a beginner. Aside from that, I just want to mention Amazon's excellent customer service! 5 out of 5 stars for their customer service.

The skepticism I felt was normal, as it would be with anyone. It's true! Having an electric guitar for the first time was absolutely awesome I've never owned one before I love it so much Everything was there and the amp looked tiny but was mighty. The packaging was super lightweight so I thought something was missing, but nope it was all there and it looked tiny, but it was There is no doubt that this is not a tiny speaker but it is a great size to travel with and get great sounds in a handy case. This is definitely a great purchase.

Definitely the best customer service I have ever received. A defective amplifier can be returned for a refund, replaced and returned, or a partial credit is offered. Applied for partial credit that will be used toward a different (better) amplifier. This product has been upgraded to a 5 star rating.
The guitar was the wrong color, and everything else appeared to be fine. As I ordered a Red guitar, the packaging indicated a Red guitar, but it was actually a Sunburst guitar. The package has been sent back and an exchange made. The same thing has happened again! In the shipping box it appeared to be a Red guitar, but it was actually Sunburst. Assuming it was a packaging error, and that it would just happen a third time in a row, I returned the guitar package. In terms of value for money, I gave this package two stars, as the guitar and accessories appeared to be of high quality.
