I really wanted a new clarinet case since my old one was run over (a long story involving the puppy carrying it out to the driveway with the clarinet inside), so I picked out this one. This case caught my attention after I looked at quite a few. There is nothing I love more about this case than its side organizer - I really don't know why. There was a side pocket in my old case, but it did not have any organization. With this, it is easy for me to locate my pencils, tuners, and reeds without digging! Additionally, I appreciate the fact that the case has room for two barrels. Aside from the beautiful color, I am equally smitten with It's only the balance that makes me unhappy about this case. The case balances in my lap when I have only the clarinet wet inside. However, once I start taking the sections out of the clarinet, the case becomes top heavy (especially with all of the items I have stored in the organization section) and it falls to the ground. My top joint nearly severed when the case tipped when at first I was using it. Now I am used to it. I have to hold the clarinet case in place when I first start putting it away to make sure it doesn't tip backwards before I get enough weight into the case to support it.
