Violas are just barely long enough for a 17 inch string instrument. A little bit bigger, but not too much. A little more than 9 3/4 inches wide at the lower half of the picture

Is it possible to fit violas up to 16 inches long?

My 15 year old has also taught me a thing or two. There is a 5 that fits snugly in the case, so I would not expect to be able to fit a 16 in there.

In the picture, it looks like an interior with black furniture, but the description says it's ?

Old photo. I'm not sure when this was taken. Prior to now, Bam's interior materials were beige, but this has now changed to charcoal gray.
