Questions & Answers

Is "full 1 foam padding" the same as "full 2 foam padding"? The padding is an inch thick, is that right? In order to make it easier for wearers to don and take off, does the zipper sit on either side of the end pin?

In fact, the padding is 1" thick and the zipper is on both sides of the end pin. The case for the money is strong.

You can get a bag of this quality for less than half the price of a Standard Mooradian bag. For the past few months, I have had this case and I believe it is a great case. While it's not quite Mooradian quality, the Cushy Bass Bag most certainly beats the competition in terms of price. There is also a Mooradian bag on the David Gage site but it is essentially only a cover as it has very little padding. You might also like the Bobelock case, if you want more features. However, you will have to spend a little more money. Having this bass case on my bass is an invaluable asset to me as a professional bassist who is always traveling with my instrument. The most comfortable bass bag 3/4 size in the market.

The bag is nice for the price

The bag is nice for the The cover is good
It seems firm and somewhat tight
I didn't like the strap system and how the strap works.
In the end I came up with a strap from an old briefcase which worked well. Thank you aloha for understanding why it got 4 stars instead of 5.

The bag is so cool

This is not as much of an issue as He loves it. I bought it as a gift for him. One time, he took the strap off and used it again. In his experimentation he is trying to find out what it is. There are 2 small handles on the bass that make moving it easier. The organization is well suited to my needs. It was not on my mind to ask about them.
