Questions & Answers
Is it possible to use five ?
There is no chance of that happening. There is no way to make it This is for my five-stringed guitar
The black wire is loose. To what does it lead?
IMO, it is the grounding wire, so I simply route it in a manner that it will not contact anything that will conduct it. The guitar might be fine with a small hole in the body if it's made of wood.
soldering have to be done for this?
The installation is complete, all you need to do is

A IMMACULATE packing job did not prevent pick guard from coming damaged, hence it had to be FUBAR'ed before shipping. There was a warp in the frame. I fixed it. There was an area that needed to be cleared up around the neck. There is nothing to worry about here. The fit of aftermarket pick guards is ALWAYS a little awkward at first. As necessary, I used my Dremel to complete the job. Then, after all this work, I peeled off the protective film and found a scratch so deep I couldn't rub it The film can be found below. Once again, this means that the item was damaged before it ever left its Unfortunately, quality control does not seem to be a priority. I have not yet had a chance to do anything with the electronics, but I'll look forward to doing so. My enthusiasm for them isn't as great as it could be. Pots are tiny, wire is ultra thin gauge, and the p'ups are thin and light, about half the weight of OEM fenders. Even if they sound great, they look like cow poop.
The quality of the product is dependent on the cost.

Thanks to Leo Morachiolli and Two Minutes to Late Night on YouTube and Covid 19 (as well as working from home), I got the itch to play instruments again
There was an old JB player (Who was it? A) electric bass just sat on my parents' basement so I decided to pick it up to This did not happen. Due to some reason I remembered seeing pickguards with electronics recently, I took a quick look and found this. My new amp works with the base I installed today after some dremeling (as it wasn't identical, even though it looked that way) which looks awful, but the amp actually works with the base. Originally, the old electronics produced very little bass and a huge amount of noise since they were corroded. In spite of its high price, this new pickguard works great and my whole bass looks like a bomb went off because of the terrible job I While we will have to wait and see how this goes over the next few months, for 16+ bucks, it was completely worth it to get this old thing up and.

There should be no way Amazon can sell this rubbish
There is a scam going on here. There is no way to replace the pick guard with a Fender or Squire pick guard without increasing its size. Similarly, pick up covers are also too small to act as anything other than replacements for the cheap, useless tiny magnets they call pick ups. And wiring is too cheap to be of any use. In fact, I don't think you can get lighter or cheaper than that. Pots are also useless junk, and I'm not sure they make an input jack that would be more useful. It is impossible for such a poor quality product to be manufactured accidentally. There's a scam going on here.

It's hard to rate the accuracy or stretch of this text. I can't believe how much value it provides for the price. A couple of the holes did not meet the requirements on my squire P bass (circa The solution was to drill new holes, which was quite easy. It worked pretty well once I put a screw in the cavity for a ground. Under 20 dollars, and an old bass that had failed electronic repair was brought back to life. I give it a five out of five Not expecting pickups to compete against a 200$ set, I put them aside.

At first I had a good range of tone, but after a couple of months I broke it
When I first used the pick-up, I liked its performance It was a great price but the pick guard didn't fit and I had to file my other one down a bit. I was surprised by how much lighter the hardware was compared to standard issue and how much lighter the build was. Unable to adjust the pot properly, one of the pots came loose, rendering the unit useless.

As for what professional sound is like from $20 pickups, I can't imagine that you can get it from a $20 set. Having said that, I have no complaints. Due to the fact that I planned on switching the electronics to the old pickguard, I never even attempted to install this on Its volume control and tone control are both smooth, with good sound quality. The price of the item does not disappoint me.

This pick guard had all of its components removed and moved
I removed all of the components from this pick guard and replaced it with a pick guard that fits I only have one criticism the seller failed to include all mounting hardware such as screws, springs, and foam.

I expected screws at least but this is not the case
It is okay for the price but at least I wish I had gotten The pots are 16k each, so I'm not sure what's going on. Although I am not sure about the value of the cap, I do not expect much from it. I also noticed that my pickguard was not lined up with my fender.
