Selected User Reviews For Hipshot 6GLO Grip-Lock - Afinadores de guitarra de bloqueo 3+3, Negro
My name is My guitar tuner pegs have been Sperzel, Schecter and Grover since I started playing guitar many years ago. As I installed Grovers on my last guitar, my only one now, I had problems with them, and one peg failed. It was the first time that I saw that happening. When I did a bit of research, I found Hipshot brand and the reviews were positive, so I ordered a set to replace my Having these tuners installed on my PRS SE Custom 24, which is fantastic, means that the guitar now stays in tune, all the time. The mounting plates are innovative and make the installation simple. I have attached photos of my guitar with the tuners It's a good idea to buy them and enjoy them, as you won't regret it.
In the box, you will find comprehensive instructions that allow for easy installation. It only took 5 minutes after installing these hipshot tuners to get my instrument in tune. Previously, I had Gibson deluxe tuners that kept going out of tune, but with the hipshot tuners, it works better than any other tuners I have ever had. This is a must-have for anyone who does not have Floyd Rose's method of changing strings. It's 10 times faster and easier, and the tuning stability is phenomenal!.
It is therefore not known how long term reliability will be. It was easy to install, but it took nearly an hour to complete. I have seen others do it much quicker than I have. There was no need to drill the holes or make them larger. In addition to aligning the tuners, the flat plates also hold them in place once the top nuts are tightened. It is possible to adjust your tuners if they are too tight or too loose by turning the screw at the end of the knobs, where your fingers rest. My fittings were a bit tight in a few places. I loosened the screws in order to allow them to turn freely A string must be installed To unblock the string eyelets, remove the thumb screws first. If your strings will not go into the eyelets, you will need to lay your guitar on its back and gently By doing this, the inner lock cylinder will be loose. Your string will then be allowed through. Pull your string through the eyelet and secure it with a knot. The string needs to be pulled To tighten the thumb screw, turn it counterclockwise. Make sure your instrument is tuned. You can do it in a flash. In less than one rotation, all of the strings will be at the correct pitch. Since the posts won't need to be as tall as conventional tuner posts, they really shouldn't be high. It is very easy to adjust the string pitch. There is no looseness at all. I have found tuning my guitar to be extremely easy using this precision. Many of my guitars have been my own. There is no other stock tuner that can compete with this. The lock mechanism is not included in these. It would be better than any stock tuner you have experienced to have them play this smoothly. Due to the fact that strings can be changed so quickly, I think the locking versions are much better. It's not a good idea to get new tuners without locking mechanisms. It is the Chrome version that I have purchased.
I really like how comfortable it is to tune and the guitar stays in tune as promised. You won't see any wild G string antics anymore. Since they are relatively light compared to the Grover tuners this guitar comes with, they could make your instrument lighter than you expect, which can be a pleasant surprise. Generally, they are easy to install and do about what they're supposed to do, and they don't really stand out too much The open back design of the bus with the gears visible is something I like. The time to get in here is crucial, so be sure to make your reservation early An Strat-based design using lines 6 & 7 The 3-type guitar and the 4-type guitar To co-ordinate with an existing tuning machine cutout hole, I designed three designs for a Les Paul or SG style guitar.
You can spend more money on tuning machines, but you won't get a better product.
I enjoy the variety of interchangeable knobs on the Hipshot tuners. There are many knobs which I like, but one in particular is the "industrial" knob, which is round and knurled. you have ever tuned a guitar, you probably know that some of the flat, standard knobs will be in the 'wrong' position and force you to change your hand position so you can move your hand appropriately You get a consistent feel and sense of speed when you use the "industrial" knobs. The placement of your hand does not matter, so you can tune more quickly. I purchased this set of black Hipshot tuners for the first time, and I'm very pleased with the quality of the finish. There's something I particularly like about the tuning machines--the open gears add a bit of color and a more mechanical appearance. In that respect, the black is even better than the nickel or chrome I used to use. Easy to use and fast string changes are provided by the locking mechanism. retrofits onto virtually any guitar without the need to drill holes or drive those tiny screws, if one does not wish to do so. Despite their delicate construction, the bushings are well made, matched to the finish, and fit Hipshot tuners are amazing, and I love everything about them. The quality of these men is exceptional, and they are at an incredible price.
As a new user to HipShot tuners, this is my first experience using them. Grover, Schaller, TonePro's, or Kluson Vintage (older Lester) have always been my favorite brands, but I've never tried There was nothing wrong with them, I just didn't think about it, and the things I had experience with either fitted, or were suitable for my current job. Well, this time I was building a Lester using the KIT, and I decided to introduce them into my build. So, I can pretty much say that I will not be using anything else for quite some time, unless in a specific case a specific type of build is only compatible with one type or something these really are the best tuners I have ever used to make that G string pluckable! The mount also needs to be mounted. I was sold on this product after seeing the Universal Mounting plate, which made everything a lot simpler, and I am now sold! You will never have to worry about tuning stability or precision again once you get these. My belief in these products is so strong that I would probably buy them for everyone who wanted them, if I could afford it! I love it!.
