Strings made with nickel give a warmer sound
5/5

The nickel strings on my banjos for decades have never proved to be durable, but I bought these phosphor bronze ones Gold ones. Bronze ones. It's true that they are warmer and easier on the ears longer after playing. They still have a punchy quality that can be expected from a banjo as well as being loud enough to be heard. It is the light set EJ69 that I used. Nickels were popular for a long time, so you might want to try silver ones and see how you like it. This is what I am going to do.

It's a love affair! I appreciate them very much! For the longest time I held onto strings that came with my banjo, when I should have changed them the day I bought it had I realized how much of a difference string could make in the sound
5/5

I'm not sure how to describe how brighter and fuller these strings sound. . . but they're much easier to play as well! They are my favorite!.

There is a string slip on the highest string
3/5

I like the sound, but the fifth string slipped. It was impossible to tune it to G without it slipping from time to time. Every other string held tune, which may have been the fault of my tuning pegs. It is impossible to say. In the future, I plan to experiment with other banjo strings.

The sound is weak
3/5

There is a nice feeling in these strings, but the sound isn't strong overall.

In this package, everyone who has never picked a porch before can learn to do so
5/5

Having just become a first-time banjo player and lifelong Blue Grasshole, I was in need of these strings to take my bedroom playing out on the porch.
