Questions & Answers

The strings look good, but can they be used on tenor guitars?

As far as I can see, there is no reason not to. You can either go with the CGDA string or GDAE string if you like Irish tuning, both of which are inexpensive and worth listening to a bit. It will not be good to use 5 string sets

What kinds of banjo strings do you have? Do you have strings for plectrum ?

Banjos with four strings are known as tenors. I am not sure how long the neck of the instrument is between the The tenor version works great for me.

The string ends are all plain steel or do any of them have wound ends?

An example of wound is fourth.

This tuning will not work for the C G D A tenor
3/5

In order to avoid breaking the highest A string, a much lighter gauge is required. This set of strings is suitable for Irish tuning (the top four strings of a guitar) D G B E.

The strings are a bit short and it would be more comfortable if they were a couple inches longer
5/5

I like them, but they are a bit difficult to string because they are short and hard to start.

This is a great price for the string that breaks
3/5

The strings I used to string my banjo broke, so I had to buy more. We tried to save a few bucks in this case, but it may have been a waste of money.
