As far as I can see, there is no reason not to. You can either go with the CGDA string or GDAE string if you like Irish tuning, both of which are inexpensive and worth listening to a bit. It will not be good to use 5 string sets
Banjos with four strings are known as tenors. I am not sure how long the neck of the instrument is between the The tenor version works great for me.
An example of wound is fourth.

In order to avoid breaking the highest A string, a much lighter gauge is required. This set of strings is suitable for Irish tuning (the top four strings of a guitar) D G B E.

I like them, but they are a bit difficult to string because they are short and hard to start.

The strings I used to string my banjo broke, so I had to buy more. We tried to save a few bucks in this case, but it may have been a waste of money.

I have found my perfect strings for my little Weymann and Sons Mando I love the sound of that. The Cheap Suits tunes can now be played through my speakers!.

There was a break at the loop of the string.

The sound is good and the quality good. You can expect a lot.

Product of high quality.
