I am a beginner and I do not know squat about what makes a good string set
5/5

It's not for me to know what makes a good set of strings because I'm just getting started. Keeping in tune with not a huge amount of stretching, I can tell you. There were only two times I needed to retune. From that point on, they were fine.

It is a very light string
3/5

This is only for my Deering Goodtime 2 banjo and only for this particular banjo. The strings are bright and perform well because of their excellent quality.

A simple and easy to use design
5/5

This is the first set of strings that I have bought in over 20 years and they sound great. A lot softer on the fingers than the strings that came with my banjo. As far as tone is concerned, it is fine.

I am disappointed
3/5

As far as the rest of the strings are concerned, they were fine, so I plugged them in (no problems). Upon opening the second pack, I also found that the loop on the first string in this pack was.

A high-quality product
5/5

The price is good, and the sound is excellent. This is a high-quality, easy-playing banjo string that is very pleasant to play. D'Addario quality is well reflected in these products.

The banjo is not for me! They don't fit my old Vega banjo, and these aren't the right strings A couple of weeks ago, I was really surprised at how my normally good sounding banjo suddenly sounded The strings were not bright, and the wound strings had a dead ring to them
3/5

Having used D'Addario strings on guitars for years, I would certainly recommend them. The irony is not lost on me.

This is a tinny sound
3/5

If your voice is tinny or thin, then it's too thin I like the way that sounds.
