It should fit in the Yamaha tilter, I'm sure. This 5mm boom rod is compatible with my DW, PDP, and Sound Percussion cymbal tilters. Some Pearl boom tilters will not accommodate it. Some of their models have a larger diameter.

Your arm is fantastic. The cymbal tilter has a locking mechanism that keeps it in place, which I like. It's nice to know that the cymbal arm will stay in place and not become loose when I'm playing harder music. In addition, the arm is a decent length. In general, this is a good purchase.

For my ride cymbal, I used a gear tilter that had teeth. Until I bought this boom rod with the brake tilter, I couldn't get the exact angle I needed. This part's quality is satisfactory to me.
