Is there a lot of noise coming from the cooler?
You will not be able to return a product if you failed to measure the property. On their website, they have some good diagrams and measurements.
I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly, but I've placed mine on top of the pin that activates when the door is locked. I honestly don't recall if I couldn't figure out what it was for and decided to leave it there. or if that's what it's supposed to be used for! Because we never lock the door, I just leave that piece on the counter all the time, hoping that it will keep the pin/lock mechanism clean.
There are three settings for the blue light: high, low, and off are the three levels of difficulty. The temperature readings on my computer do not go away. That's convenient because I can see when the unit is powered up. I hope this has been of assistance.

It was the ideal size for tucking away in a forgotten cabinet. Before modifying the cabinet for installation, I decided to use the wine cooler as a freestanding unit for a month or so. The temperature of the unit (both zones) began to fluctuate after about 5 weeks and would not stabilize, and the compressor became noisier than usual. I was fortunate in that I was within Amazon's return policy. I went to a different store and purchased a more expensive item. Avallon's end wine cooler. I hope the majority of you who read this review have better luck with this device than I did. especially if you're installing a cabinet that's been modified. br>br>ADDENDUM: ADDENDUM: ADDENDUM: ADDENDUM: ADDENDUM: ADD After returning this defective unit WITHIN THE REQUIRED RETURN WINDOW AND IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING, Amazon issued me a refund at 80% of my total purchase price! What? There should be no re-entry into the game. Because the unit was returned in its original condition and within the authorized return window, there was no stocking fee. I will never recommend this product to anyone, and the return situation I am currently in only strengthens my position. Now I'll have to do the Kabuki Dance with Amazon in order to get my money back in full. What a pain! WARNING: BUY THIS PRODUCT AT YOUR OWN RISK!.
I should have paid attention to the previous reviews of this product and avoided buying it. It was purchased because it was the right size for the under-counter trash compactor. The compressor failed just over a year after it was purchased and was no longer covered by the manufacturer's warranty. I paid a lot of money for only a year's worth of service. I spoke to Evan in customer service who offered 25% and free shipping on a new unit to me. Why would I want to get a new one? Clearly, the product isn't up to par. This is a wine cooler that you should not buy.
I bought this cooler for our kitchen remodel, and it's already making a lot of noise; it's easily the loudest appliance in the room, and I'm tempted to keep it turned off all the time, so it's basically an $800 brick. When I tried to return it, I discovered that the 30-day return period had passed me by. This is a product I will never buy again, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. Be careful who you buy from.
Is it possible for me to give a star rating of less than one? This is utter nonsense. After 30 days, the compressor broke down. New Air customer service stated that they did not have that part in stock and that they would contact them again in 30 days. Is this a joke? Purchases should be avoided.
This compressor was just purchased by us. based cooler unit to be installed in a space previously occupied by a trash compactor It's the better of the two coolers we've had in the space. br>br>The first unit we had heavily influenced my opinion of this beverage cooler. Because it didn't use a compressor, it had two major flaws: Temperature and noise are the first two factors to consider. The compressor unit would not cool below 46 degrees Fahrenheit. We don't think that's cold enough. Second, there is the non-profit sector. a compressor The based cooling system made a lot of noise. It was irritatingly obvious whenever it ran (which was quite a bit in an open floor plan with the kitchen and family room blending together). br>br>When compared to our previous unit, this one really shines: it cools to 36 degrees, for starters. It also accomplishes this in a short amount of time. We turned on the unit (after letting it sit overnight to avoid a malfunction) and it quickly cooled to 36 degrees. It has stayed at 36 for the few days we've had it, even after being loaded with a number of bottles. When it came to noise, I had to pay close attention to make sure it was on. It's very quiet here! br>br>The packaging is also a plus for this product. A while back, we attempted to order a cooler from the big orange home store. That cooler's maker decided to cut corners on packaging. We went through three orders, each of which arrived with major damage due to shoddy packaging. The store was extremely accommodating and helpful, but they had no control over the sad state of the cooler's packaging. This cooler was well-packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I was a little hesitant to open it after our previous issues, but I was pleasantly surprised to find an absolutely flawless product. Yay! br>br>Not only was it in perfect condition, but it also had a nice appearance. It fits perfectly into the gap between our cabinets and completes the look of the kitchen. The interior LED lighting is a little bluer than I'd like, but that's a minor quibble. If you want to store upright bottles, you'll probably have to take out two or three shelves. The advertised capacity will most likely be reduced as a result of this. But it'll still hold a lot (probably at least two cases, but I haven't checked). br>br>This unit has far exceeded my expectations thus far (three days in). br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I've had this unit for about ten days and am now comfortable enough with it to discard the box. Everything is in working order. Quiet. The temperature has remained constant at the 36 degrees I set it to. Even when the sun shines directly into the glass door, which it does quite often, it remains there. It comes highly recommended!.
Because of its size and reversible door, I chose this wine fridge. We didn't see any hardware to reverse the door when we first got the unit. I contacted New Air, who informed me that the door could not be reversed because the unit has a recessed kickplate. The door is advertised as being able to be reversed throughout the product page, but this is not the case (at least not for the recessed kick plate version). Now I have an unsightly wine refrigerator in my brand new kitchen that is nearly unusable due to the door position. Not a happy camper, to say the least.
The volume of noise is incredible - You'd never know it's on because it's so quiet. When closed, the temperature remains in the mid/upper 30s, with a brief dip into the low 40s. The black interior and the blue interior light are my only criticisms of this unit. I wish there was a lighter interior color option, such as gray or something similar. That isn't a major issue, and the black is fine. The blue light inside this unit, on the other hand, is cheesy and reminds me of a dorm room or a bar. Apart from those two flaws, the unit is excellent and I strongly recommend it. Mine is installed under a counter, and I am very pleased with it.
The product is fantastic!! Easy to assemble, well-made with high-quality materials, well-priced, and attractive in any setting. I have some advice for you: Save space by storing a sufficient number of bottles. You will never drink more than 7 bottles in a typical dinner or night.
