How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
BETTER ACCURACY: The distance to spot ratio is 2012: 1; Measure surface temperatures ranging from -58°F -1022°F / -50°C - 550°C - 550°
Emissivity is the ability of an object to emit infrared energy, and it can be adjusted. Adjustable emissivity improves measurement accuracy across different surface types; simply adjust your 1022's emissivity according to the instruction(0. 1-1. 0)
MULTIFUNCTION: 1022 features with maximum measurement function; LCD screen with backlight, auto-off function, and low battery indicator to extend battery life so you never run out of juice (battery included).
VERSATILE DESIGN: This thermometer's infrared technology allows you to measure the surface temperature of a variety of objects, particularly those with temperatures above boiling points and below freezing points; use it for cooking and barbecuing, auto maintenance, home repairs, and a variety of other tasks.
NOTE: The distance between the thermometer and the object of measurement should be about 14 inches for maximum accuracy. Temperature readings from this device are inanimate objects, so the temperature measured for humans or animals will be incorrect; FDA, FCC, and CE compliant; Class 2 laser, optical power 0. 5-0. 9mW
This is an industrial thermometer that should not be used in a medical setting.

Questions & Answers

What is the recommended or range for this gun (distance from gun to target)? At 6 o'clock, how precise is it? How about a range of 8 feet?

The 12: The gun is accurate for a one-inch spot at a distance of 12". So at 6'- It will be accurate for a 6"-footer at 8'. a spot measuring 8" in diameter As a result, the further you are from the measurement point, the less accurate the measurement will be. Consider it in the form of a cone, as Cheryl suggested.

Is this effective at lowering internal meat temperatures?

You might be able to take the surface temperature of the meat by cutting it in half, but that means your meat will be cut in half, which isn't very appealing. The combination of blue cheese and bacon sounds delicious.

Is it possible to use this thermometer to determine the temperature of a dryer?

However, due to air circulation and reflection, the temperature in your dryer varies depending on the surface. The metal is a lot hotter than the air, and the clothes are freezing. You're looking for air temperature, so unless you're going to open your dryer, this isn't the tool for you. If you're going to open the dryer, this is the time to do it. Set the emissivity index for metal and you'll have a precise measurement of hot spots.

This is a faulty product
3/5

Not satisfied, I ordered a pair of these inferred temperature guns, one of which is clearly over 200 degrees and the other is most likely the correct temperature.

Make a cat toy out of it! Your housemates will be surprised! Recreate the opening sequence from the James Bond film! This is a useful little tool to have around the house, and it belongs in every household's toolbox
5/5

It's also worth it for the sake of entertainment. Use it as a toy for your cat!br>br> Your housemates will be surprised! Recreate the opening sequence from the James Bond film! br>br>Of course, you can also take the temperature of things. I had no idea what I'd do with this thing until I got one, and then I used it for everything. Use exact temperatures instead of "medium-high" in your cooking recipes to make them more precise. "Extreme" heat Make sure you're not going insane - The bedroom floor is actually *warmer* than the rest of the house. Stop arguing with your girlfriend about how cold her hands are (but only if you're sure). br>br>The body isn't particularly sturdy, but it appears to be adequate for a household tool. The body has a slight textured feel to it, which eliminates the "cheap plastic" feeling. It's comfortable to hold, and the display is bright and easy to read, with the option to turn off the backlight, disable the laser, and switch the readout between C and F.

A fantastic product with even better customer service! I bought this product because I thought my refrigerator wasn't cold enough, and I saw the tech who came out before me use a lazer thermometer to check the temperature inside; with this product, I was getting 50 degrees in the fridge when it was set to 33, so I used that as the basis for a service call, along with some spoiled milk
5/5

When the technician returned, his lazer thermometer read 35 degrees, while mine read in the high 40s and 50s at the same time and in the same location. I'm not sure if I got a bad one, but this laser thermometer is awful. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> Etekcity has sent me a replacement based on this review, with no questions asked or the need to return the defective one. That is worthy of a second star. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> The thermometer was fine, but the technician who came out had a defective one (different brand, I inquired). In fact, the temperatures obtained by the new tech using his wired thermometer were identical to those obtained by me using this laser thermometer. a five star product at 100 percentage of.

Lasergrip IR thermometers from Etekcity are compared
5/5

Lasergrip IR Themometers from Etekcity (1022D, 800, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 630) vs. Klein IR1000br>I am not a professional HVAC or auto mechanic, but I do a lot of work on my house and cars myself. An infrared thermometer can be used for a variety of purposes. br>As a homeowner, I purchased one to check for hot/cold spots around my house. In addition, I wanted to see how much difference there was in temperature between my supply and return vents in my HVAC system. I'll use it for grilling, smoking, and cooking, as well. My eldest child I enjoy building computers, and an IR thermometer comes in handy; the more I experimented with it, the more applications I discovered. I needed a tool that was both reasonably priced and capable of meeting my needs. br>br>I decided on the Etekcity Line IR thermometer based on Amazon's best seller Etekcity 774 (best seller with the most reviews and a very reasonable price of $16). 88). After looking into other Etekcity models, I discovered a plethora of options with varying ranges, features, and spot/distance ratios ranging from 16:1 to 32:1. 1+12 = The first is the higher standard, which is found in most high-end brands. The spot-to-distance ratios vary from 8:1 to 8:2. 1 to 16: This is the only IR tool in this category. br> Etekcity's Models do not specify which models are more expensive. Model numbering is very confusing; one would think that an 800 or 1022 model would be higher end than a 630 or 774 model. In the case of Etekcity, this is not the case. This is compounded by the inability to compare products side by side on the Etekcity or Amazon websites. So I decided to narrow my choices down to three and put myself to the test. br>br>I compared the 1022D, 800, and 1000 Etekcity Lasergrips thermometers. 630 are pitted against each other Using the Klein IR1000 as a light source. Using specific spots/surfaces near my home thermostat and at set distances. br>I'll start by saying that Etekcity makes excellent products, regardless of which IR thermometer you choose. Even more impressive was their customer service: I asked a question through Amazon and Etekcity responded the same day, offering to call me because I had a lot of questions. I was able to start a chat conversation with Etekcity customer service representatives right away, and they were extremely helpful in explaining the benefits and differences of all of their infrared thermometers to me. Many of the higher-end infrared thermometers in this category cost more than $50. 00 and are identical in terms of specifications and features. the value of what I learned from Etekcity's products Etekcity 1022D-Etekcity 1022D-Etekcity 1022D-Etekcity 1022D-Etekcity 1022D-Etekcity 10 $19. 99 .

Is it possible to use? Nope! I took the laser out of the box, plugged it in, and pointed it at my wood bar
3/5

Is it true that the temperature was 90 degrees Fahrenheit? The temperature in the house was 68 degrees Fahrenheit, and the bar was cool. I checked a few more things and got the same result. Then I went into the kitchen, where I had a pan of boiling pasta sauce with a temperature of 210 degrees Fahrenheit. As a result, I'm not sure whether or not it works. This product is a waste of money. I'm in my house, and the temperature is 65 degrees Fahrenheit. The leather chair has a rating of 92, the wall has a rating of 96, the speaker has a rating of 95, and the metal leg of the chair has a rating of 95. I'm returning for a refund, that's all I have to say about it.

The manual for the Etekcity Lasergrip 630 can be found here
5/5

I've seen a few comments and questions on the internet about people who don't have the Lasergrip 630 manual. I couldn't find it on the manufacturer's website or anywhere else online, so I decided to post it here. I hope this is useful to some of you. br>br>At first, I bought it to locate hot spots in my house and better utilize fans to reduce my air conditioning usage. This is one of those products that I didn't have to have, but am glad I did because it's been useful in a variety of situations. It's incredibly simple to work with. If you don't already have it, look through the manual for more information. br>br>Image below, or click here for a pdf version of the manual:
