Is there a type of clear hook that ?

The metal ones I purchased are metal. A peg board hook is likely to work with just about any peg board.

The holes go through all layers, or only a few?

There are layers you refer to, but I'm not sure which ones. As a result, the unit has feet on the back so that the peg board can be installed and it will not flush with The pegs can then be inserted into the holes as a result. . These are the holes in the pegs. Each diameter is 25" and there is a 1" center space between them.

The photo does not resemble the real thing

However, it doesn't look the same as the picture, so I only gave it two stars. This is a pegboard I bought because of the dark grey finish on the front. However, what I received was a clear plastic pegboard without any of the grey coloring shown in the picture.

I had a problem with the size and it didn't fit my work bench properly. In my case, i made my own set up and it works fine, but I got it on sale for $12 - 100% worth it but full price isn't worth it if you are looking for accuracy.

It was the perfect solution! I couldn't find boards that I liked at my local hardware store. Despite the size being smaller than I expected, I was able to spray paint it to add a little flare. The only thing I had to do to complete my little project was to find this product. Everyone who has seen it has loved it.
