There's nothing special about it except that it's a red flashlight

After working for six years as an RN in an acute care environment, I have used this device and can honestly say it is nothing more than a red LED As long as you are unable to see or feel the vein earlier, this device is of no help. Light from it can illuminate or cast a shadow, but only on the most superficial veins that are visible. Illumination of deeper veins is not possible. This flashlight is being marketed as a $500 vein finder under a deceptive business model I consider it more valuable than the price of a red flashlight, which I think is more like $10.

In the event of an emergency, this device is truly life-saving. I used to work in a chemo suite that had one and we used it to find all A position just opened up in another department without an adequate one, and I'm so bummed about it. A low price enticed me to try it out, but then I saw the price. Feeling super bummed right now.
