Vinyl is not a covering for the cushion.
Not sure what type of foam it is made out of, but it is a smooth, dense and solid I hope this is helpful.

How are you doing? You should stack pillows as opposed to arranging them. Compared to other companies, it is Prior to hand surgery, I spent a lot of time considering this purchase. While seated, I need to place the foam wedge on top of a stack of pillows and blankets to keep my hand elevated above my heart. Likewise, when lying down, I need to add extra cushions to increase the wedge's height and angle. Additional width and height of three inches would help stabilize the product so that it can be used without the arm tray and increase the angle of incline to help with the control of edema. I would put my money into savings if I could do it again.
The surface is not coated and is not able to be disinfected. Based on past experiences with foam, I completely expect dog hair to get caught inside, so I'll be returning it without even taking it out of the bag entirely. To keep the roll intact during use, I heard that I should roll a towel and fold it back on the end like a book, place it in a pillowcase, wrap it around so there isn't too much fabric getting in the way, and tie it up with string. In order to give the bed extra elevation without going overboard with pillows, I used a small, long and narrow throw pillow as a base.
Two of them exist, one can serve as a hand rest while I am lying In the aftermath of my hand being in a cast and then in a brace, it helps with blood circulation. My hand and wrist are relieved from pain when I use this.
You're basically using foam to keep your hand elevated, but it's far more effective and comfortable than a pillow. I just finished my 14th day of hand surgery recovery and this is a great solution for the cost. Your arm may shift, but it's still quite comfortable.
I had trouble getting it to work. This was exactly the opposite of what we had hoped for. This was not the best position for his arm to be in. Furthermore, it needs a base to attach to, which isn't included with it and is It would have been better if I read it.
When I ordered it, I didn't know what to expect. I was sceptical that it would hold up. I have only used it for wrist exercises, but it is just as advertised, sturdy, and the perfect height.
I'm not really impressed by this product I don't think the price is worth it, as it's just a piece of foam cut into the shape you see. It can easily be done by the average person.
A stroke was the cause of my husband's death. Having a stiff left arm makes it hard to move it. Our plan was to use this to help his fingers diminish their swelling. He can't get his arm into the groove when he is using this. There is nothing comfortable about this.
