I just got these ear tips and I'm in love with them! I bought a Littmann Class III stethoscope and had to change the ear tips to the smaller size because the small grey ones that came with the stethoscope were difficult to snap in (the large size was already on the stethoscope). Littmann's customer service was not at all helpful. I was transferred twice, and neither time could anyone give me any instructions on how to put the ear tips on. I bought these black ones because I thought the grey ones were ruined, and they snapped on almost immediately. Using grippers, I discovered that only the lower half of the ear tips should be gripped and pushed. It was ineffective to hold the entire ear tip or to push from the upper soft area. As a result, five stars and a thumbs up. The quality and prompt delivery earn five stars, but the ease of putting on the ear tips and Littmann's poor customer service earn two.
They're some of the best-feeling ear-plugs if you're working in an ER/ED with a scope around your neck and don't care if you lose it. I was so pissed I lost them off my scope exiting the bus twice; maybe I missed it, but I know what size I need and I need them by the dozen as backups on the fly. br>That's exactly why I was so pissed I lost them off my scope exiting the bus twice; maybe I missed it, but I know what size I need and I need them by the dozen as backups on the fly. The kit is nice, but I'm not made of money, and I don't have spare large tips lying around because I lose smalls in the field. Please provide me with the most comfortable suggestions based on the size and case.
It's been ten years since it was first published. I bought this kit, which came with two pairs of shoes, and they fit perfectly. The price was right on the money! They arrived a day earlier than expected, and I'd order them again if necessary!.
After 5 years of full-time use, the ear bud on my beloved Littmann Cardiology stethoscope cracked. time use. I swapped them out for these, and I'm amazed at how much better I can hear now. Hearing and sound conduction are both affected by damaged ear pieces.
Because the old one had somehow fallen off, I ordered these. This part number, according to 3M customer service, will fit my Littman "select" model stethoscope. I'm guessing it also works with other stethoscope models. In any case, it works as described! I'm down to one black ear now. I'll throw in one gray for good measure:.
It's a perfect match for my classic II.
These aren't the same as the ones I bought. My ear tips are larger and more rubbery than the ones that came with it. They're of higher quality than the ones I bought recently. The new ear tips are made of a foamy rubber material that appears to be cheap and will most likely fall apart, as well as being significantly smaller than the originals. Given the materials and the fact that there are only two sets, it is quite costly.
It was well worth the money to buy genuine company parts! There were two sizes of ear tips included in the package: small and large. There are two types of small and big. They're incredibly comfortable, and they easily fit my Littmann Classic II SE. I'll use original company parts if I ever need to replace anything else on my stethoscope.
