My father, who is 79 years old, has had two strokes. He has difficulty using his left hand, as well as flexibility issues. He was unable to lace his shoes any longer. He was also experiencing pain in his feet and toes. I was worried about the possibility of him tripping. I found these after searching through every pair of Velcro-fastened tennis shoes. Instead of the thick-soled boots, they resemble tennis shoes. Shoes with Velcro fasteners on the soles that are typically worn by the elderly. Their anti-aging properties, when combined with their appearance, create a powerful combination. I decided to give slip soles a try because they were designed to be supportive. Since receiving them, my father hasn't worn anything else. He is a huge fan of them. He describes them as "comfortable," "good-feeling," "lightweight," and "easy to put on. " The anti- The claim of a slip sole appears to be true. His feet, likewise, are no longer in pain. My father appreciates these shoes, and we will continue to purchase them for him. Oh, and they're still in great shape. I would recommend this book to anyone.
Anyway, this is the third pair of Avia "Avi-" shoes that I've purchased. Union" velcro-strapped shoes, though they appear to be the first of this edition. The new ones are equally as cozy as the old ones - Perhaps it's even better? I obviously like these shoes because I'm ordering another pair. They're very comfortable and durable, and they fit well (at least on me). They hold up to everything I put them through. The older ones (one pair black, one pair white) have seen a lot of use over the years and are now being used as yard work shoes - and are still alive. br>br>The only issue (and the reason for the four stars rather than five) is the velcro. Right at the loop where the strap is pulled tight (then down to fasten), the transition between the two parts of the velcro is made. The loop is a natural stress point, and the transition is a natural weak point. As a result, the velcro on the strap is starting to come undone. It's not bad enough to make the function obsolete, but it's a pain. Obviously, I returned to purchase them, so it's not a major issue.
It makes my arthritis in my hands a lot easier to deal with. br>br>These are good casual shoes; they're not fancy and won't fool you into thinking they're Florsheims, but they get the job done and are *extremely* comfortable. Because I have large feet, the toe box could be a little wider, but these are still functional and functional. br>br>I volunteer at a local aquarium and am on my feet for hours at a time, so these don't bother me. On wet concrete, traction is good, but I haven't put them through their paces yet on a rainy day, which should happen soon where I live. br>br>Foot support is good, and I don't notice the shoe "overrotating" or turning your ankles on softer ground. They're great for the price and the use I put them to. It's a good business casual outfit, but you; For a night at the Symphony, don't pair them with a fine suit.
"Oh crap, these are too small," I thought as I put the shoes on for the first time. However, after taking a few steps outside and walking a few steps, the fit was perfect, albeit a little tight. These shoes are both comfortable and durable after a week of use. The velcro straps are strong and well-made, and they will not slip or come undone. This shoe selection has made me extremely happy!.
I purchased the number eight. 5 One that is wide and white. br>br>Because I have wide feet and a high bridge, this shoe is ideal for me. My football part is 11cm wide, with a 9cm gap in the middle. My bridge is about 7 centimeters high and 5 centimeters wide. I'm from South China, where many of us have wide feet that can only be accommodated by sandals. br>br>I recently purchased a pair of Propet wide shoes, which were wide but only on the toes and not on the arch, making them uncomfortable overall. These Avias, on the other hand, are wide in the toe and arch areas. br>br>I have an 8 size foot according to the charts, but I purchased an 8. 5 and they are perfectly fitting because you must account for the space that the socks will take up, as well as the fact that when you step on the floor, your foot will "spread" a little wider and longer, so you must also account for that extra space. br>br>The only thing I don't care for is the memory foam inner sole, which flattens easily and lacks sufficient spring force to support a 180-pound man like me. I had to replace the sole, but I don't mind because finding shoes that fit is so difficult for me, so I'll put up with this minor inconvenience. br>br>I hope the information I provided is useful to someone else who is in the same situation as me.
The wide width is quite wide; in fact, it is the widest wide shoe I've ever worn. If these run wide, I'll try the regular wide next time; the length appears to be fine. After the first wear, they loosen up a little. br>There is plenty of velco, and the shoes appear to be well-made. I'm writing this review in February 2019, and if my thoughts change, I'll update it.
existent. After a few light walks, my tongue tore out, as you can see in the photo. I contacted Avia support via their website's contact form, but received no response after more than a week (at least 5 business days passed during this time). I'll give it another shot and contact Amazon support if they don't respond. At the very least, I'm hoping Amazon can assist.
I wear a velcro-strapped shoe, which is similar to a slipper. The majority of the time is spent inside. I found these on Amazon for the lowest price. They're fantastic when there are four of them around the house. They are unable to go for a long walk or jog because they lack the necessary support. They appear to be a little short in length. My left toe hits the tip of the shoe, so I think I should have ordered a half size larger than my normal size. If you wear thick athletic socks, they are also too tight in the front half. They do the job well enough for my purposes.
