NO, but I'll give you a heads up. My bag was returned because it split down the sides when I filled it with ice. We tried to fill every bag, but they all split.
They remind me of the old-fashioned ice bags that had a rope along the top to keep them closed. I'm not sure what kind of plastic they're made of, but they're fantastic.
It measures 17 inches long by 11 inches wide when laid flat on the floor. The drawstring is 10 inches wide and 5 inches wide. It's only 5 inches wide, so it's just a smidgeon narrower than the bag's overall width.

I've gotten the wrong bags two out of three times when ordering the exact same bags! I always get the bear-themed bags because they are thicker and more durable. You've sent me the thinner, shoddier ones with the dog on them for the second time. UGH! I can't return them because I'm out of bags and can't wait for another shipment, but it's ridiculous that I pay more for better bags and still get the same crappy ones!.
As you load the bag, the bag appears to come apart right below the tie string on occasion. I'm not trying to be a pain in the neck - I usually buy 400 at a time (4 100ct boxes is how they shipped them) and out of the last shipment I have used 100 and probably 10 have failed. That is a failure rate from 2010 onwards. Next time, I'm going to experiment with a different flavor.
We've got a U-shaped thing going on here. It's a good idea to have an ice machine and ice bags on hand. Bagged ice is a must for us because we frequently tailgate and travel with coolers. I thought these bags would be a good solution, but they leaked every time after multiple uses; at first, I assumed it was because they had tipped over and were on their side, but even when I made sure the bag stayed upright, my cooler would end up with water in the bottom. So, if you don't want water to fill the bottom of your cooler, these aren't for you!.
It has a lot of holes in it. No response from the seller. Purchase is not recommended. I bought these two years ago and they were a huge hit. Rearranged in June 2021. The standard of excellence is lacking. When you try to close the bags, the seam rips (see photo), rendering them useless. So far, I've tried ten different bags and they've all failed. I attempted to contact the seller but received no response. Purchase is not recommended.
I was hoping to cut down on the number of trips I'd have to make to get ice from a machine we have. br>br>I usually purchase four 10-pound bags of ice and keep them in our chest freezer. My goal was to get these 20-pound bags so that I could have more ice on hand and make fewer trips. br>br>After putting the bags in the freezer, I'll have to bust them open so I can use them for drinks. It happens all the time. The bags, however, break as I break up the ice. That means I'll be wasting ice. br>br>I'll use the rest of these and invest in thicker bags.
12 lbs and not a single bone in your body is broken. Ice bags made of durable plastic with a drawstring closure. They can hold about 12 pounds of ice while remaining closed. The draw string can be opened and closed repeatedly without breaking. Refrozen ice in bags can be separated by dropping them on a towel on a concrete floor; this does not appear to tear or break the bags. The bags arrive in a box that is not the same size as the original case. My item count was off by more than 10%, but the seller promptly sent me replacement bags after receiving my email request; in fact, more bags than were shorted were sent at no cost right away. I am willing to buy from this seller again. The item arrived in good condition.
My friend has an ice maker, and he now regrets the day I bought these bags because I now use his ice all of the time; however, once they are no longer used for ice, they work great as trash bags.
I don't have a lot of reviews on my website. Taking into account the number of weeks- star reviews these bags have at 83% this will most likely be my last as you can no longer trust reviews. These are a waste of time. They're too thin and rip easily near the drawstrings. I can't even fill and carry more than a couple of bags without one ripping open. I wouldn't even consider slamming them against the ground to break up the ice because I'm sure the bag would blow up. My error in trusting the "Amazon's Choice" label, which appears to be given when sellers figure out how to post a slew of false 4 star reviews. Reviewers gave it five stars.
