The stickers are self adhesive. It's not a silly question at all. I thought that was a good question to ask.

I like how the word is detailed and how the FDA follows it

Having said that, I do like the horizontal labels better because it is hard to display the label plus our regular label when they are vertical because the #2 tray is not large enough, but for bigger than #2 trays this is a very elegant label in my opinion.
