Questions & Answers

Does this printer, like the FreeX printer, have wireless capabilities?

Thank you for your interest in Rollo,br>br>Hello,br>br>Thank you for your interest in Rollo,br>br> br>br>While the current Rollo does not support wireless printing, we will be releasing a wireless printer in the late fall of this year. br>br>Please contact us if you have any additional questions. We will gladly assist you.

What kind of ink is used by these printers?

There is no ink because it is thermal. However, keep in mind that the labels must be fan fold, and you'll need to purchase a holder from the manufacturer to keep the rolls in place. The DYMO 4XL comes highly recommended by me. I made the switch to the Dymo and have been very pleased with it. The rolls are able to be inserted into the machine.

Is it possible to use this with 220 volts as well?

The power cable for the AC adapter is a standard US 3-prong plug. NEMA 5/15 two-prong plug br>The adapter's input voltage is 100 volts. 50/60 Hz, 240 V 1A

*** FIX FOR THOSE WITH WHITE SPARKS ON THE BAR CODE *** Excellent postage printer
5/5

Purchased for the purpose of printing E-mail postage labels sales on the bay Everything was set up and working in less than 20 minutes after unpacking the box. Advantages: br>br>
- - Extremely compact. br> When compared to printing on regular paper, cutting out the label, and taping it to a box, this method saves a lot of time and effort.
- Simple to work with.
- It appears to be well constructed. br> - A USB cable and a small "starter" packet of 4" x 6" self adhesive labels are included in the package.
- The website is well-designed and contains a wealth of information as well as numerous how-to guides. to's (E- br> - (e. g. , Amazon, etc. ) There are no proprietary labels on this product. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- The website has a surprising oversight: while it lists possible solutions to problems, it doesn't go into detail on how to implement the solutions. In order to create the print They recommend decreasing the print speed and increasing the print density in Printer Preferences - > Settings are available, but they do not indicate whether the numbers should be increased or decreased. Through trial and error, I discovered that the lower the number, the slower the print speed (for me, 3 appears to be the "correct speed"). I'm still tinkering with the density settings, but 6- is the best I've come up with so far. 8, produces dark labels that are free of white spots. br>br>Bottom Line:br>For dedicated 4"x6" label printers, there are only four options. Both the Brother and the DYMO appear to have issues with reliability, and the Zebra is too expensive (at least for what we're doing). As long as there are no problems, the Rollo appears to be one of those devices that will make us wonder how we ever got along without it. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> It's been over six months, and the Rollo is still going strong after almost daily use. I'm giving it five stars (up from four) now that the manufacturer has fixed their website instructions (which I greatly appreciate).

Until now, I had never had much affection for a printer
5/5

Oh man, this thing is incredible. It's almost too good to be true, doesn't it? It's a huge pain-in-the-neck. I never thought I'd fall in love with a printer because it was free, but I did. As a small business owner, this item pays for itself in terms of both time and money. I originally purchased this to print shipping labels, but after a few minutes, I began printing logo stickers to affix to the packages as well. Why not, when you don't have to spend money on ink that's worth its weight in gold?.

If you're on the fence, I strongly advise you to go for it
5/5

This is one to purchase! Small business owners will find this printer to be extremely useful. I was not paid in any way to write this review. To be honest, I feel this way, and it's strange that I spent so much time writing a review that doesn't help me. So I spent a long time researching thermal printers online and am pleased with my purchase. I was planning on purchasing a Dymo label printer, but after reading numerous horror stories, I decided to go with a less risky option than the "mainstream printer. " **This is probably one of the best purchases I've made this year. " (I dodged that bullet) The printer is extremely simple to operate and is not at all inconvenient. It prints beautifully, with barcodes and text that are crisp and clear. (In printing preferences, adjust the printing density and speed until they're perfect. ) You'll notice some pixelation with small lettering and fonts. However, since I've only had this fantastic printer for about a week, I'm sure there's a way to fix it (which I haven't yet discovered). br>br>As a small business owner, I only have a few seconds to adjust printer settings or make changes, and this printer makes it so simple. Make sure to read the setup manual and learn the functions of the buttons as well as the meanings of the various flashing lights. However, you could do some self-study and read up as you go (as I did). br>br>In less than a half-hour, the setup was completed. Prepare to squander the first ten minutes of your life. It'll take 15 labels to perfect the process; it's all part of the 'zeroing it in' game. br>br>I appreciate how quickly I can switch between paper sizes. To fit the paper you want to use, simply move these two sliders inside the printer wider or smaller. The paper is then fed into the machine - the lid should be closed - *Make sure your Printer Preferences or Settings are set to the correct paper size before clicking "Print" on your computer. br>br>- Run the scan so the printer can recognize the size. EDIT - Thousands of labels have been printed as of December 3rd, 2018br>br>Printer is still going strong. Every day, we use Shipstation to create Amazon FBA product labels and shipping labels. There hasn't been a single issue. As long as you follow the directions, integration is very simple and not a problem. br>br>One thing we've learned is that you should have a good PDF editing program on hand so that you can crop and print labels on the fly if necessary. This is accomplished by using the snapshot tool to print what you choose from a PDF file, which is ideal for FBA product labels and other similar applications.

- EDIT - The 4th of March, 2019br>br>It's still going strong. In regards to this printer, none of my opinions have changed. With the thermal printer, I was able to ship thousands of packages without any issues. All small business owners should use this printer, in my opinion.

I've never used a worse label printer
3/5

The good reviews here start to look reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee br>br>So far, I've used the majority of a 100-label roll and have successfully printed six labels. It has a hard time printing straight, and will frequently print half of one label and half of the next. Meanwhile, with each printing, it will spit out 10 blank labels, half of which will be horribly mangled due to improper printing, rendering them useless. br>br>Please note that in order to feed the labels into the printer, you must purchase a $20 label holder stand, which will then eat and misprint the majority of them. There are a lot of low-quality, bad printers out there, and this one makes them look like they're top-of-the-line.
