How is it possible to remove the plastic points from the roll so that it can be put on a dispenser that holds more than one inch of rollers?

In short, yes. I managed to remove the plastic end caps with my hand after removing the plastic end caps. After removing the plastic end caps, there is a little cardboard tube with an internal diameter of 3 inches.
