Selected User Reviews For Yacker Tracker Original by AGI - Traffic Light Sound Monitor
Noise causes the light to come on only when noise is present. When volume is acceptable, the light remains green. The lights change from yellow to red after a moment to give the class a warning, then the sirens go off in case the volume is not low enough. There are however several interpretations as to what is considered "too loud". The Yacker Tracker is the reason I love it. It is up to you to adjust the switch to whatever volume you wish to have the siren go off at. There was a time when it would go off if anyone sneezed or sharpened a pencil, so I had to adjust it a little. Due to the fact that it worked so well, some of my colleagues purchased it You are sure to like.

Breakfast and lunch are served in the school cafeteria
As a principal, I am responsible for school operations. No one could figure out how to fix the serious sound issues in the cafeteria. If they are able to see where they are from the sound, they should call the police. This is a great idea. The faculty has been using this for a whole semester and it's been great. When I used to work in that room, the issues were out of control, but now they rarely happen past when they hit the red light and cannot talk for 5 minutes. I really like this!.

Over the course of almost three full years, I used this item with amazing results in my intermediate grades classroom. By using light and sound signals, students learned to control noise and have fun at the same time. My favorite part was the end. One day after school (in the middle of a meeting), the signal light started flashing yellow then red, and this happened even while there was no one There was an alarm going off every 15 seconds or so, but it kept repeating itself. When I put batteries in place of plugs, they seemed to work Fixes the problem but not the cause. It is not certain if I will purchase this product.

Having been an art educator for many years, I adore mine
Having been an art educator for many years, I adore mine. There are only two reasons why I did not give it 5 stars there are two "minor" issues with the product.
1. this device Basically, this refers to the level of noise at It is set to 60 decibels in the next setting, then 70 decibels in My classroom gets quite noisy because I set the volume to 70 decibels since 60 decibels is way too sensitive. At 70 decibels, it still seems a bit too small and so I set it at 60 decibels. *cf. next section. 1) the alarm is good (I haven't used the voice setting), however if I raise the volume enough in the room it does not sound Although I have only encountered that issue once in the month since I bought the phone. This product is great, but it's pricey and made poorly. My verdict is that it works okay but it's slightly pricey for an item of this quality. My experience has been a lot better so far thanks to it.
It is essential for all teachers to use this in the classroom
The thing I have in my hands is absolutely amazing. My classroom uses this alarm system all the time. It can go off on the lowest setting while everything is quiet. All you hear is students writing in the room, but the alarm goes I typically set it to the second setting and it works just fine. It's up to the kids to This is a nice, well-designed piece of equipment. It's been my companion for two years and I wish I'd found it sooner.

Make sure that a warranty is offered or you will save money
would be a great idea in a classroom, but it is made of cheap materials. In the future, if someone makes a Yacker Tracker that is comparable to this quality product with a real warranty, I will pay double, but for now, this is a piece of.
This is the kindergarten class
Bringing this for my daughter who is a kindergarten teacher was a nice thing to do. A big smile appears on her face! Apparently, children self-regulate when the color changes from green to yellow and whisper to each other about it.

As far as I can tell, this works well. If a large truck passes outside, the siren will occasionally go off, but for the most part, it is working. It is unfortunately impossible for my students to handle it this year (they think it's a game), although in the end it is quite.
