My two black lashing straps have held my beehives on top of their stands every day since May 2nd 2017, or 1,064 days. Another two have been on the job for over 800 days. In summer, they are outdoors in partial shade, and in winter, they are largely in full sun. On the north side of the straps that are in the shade, they have algae growing on the north side where the straps faded almost white where they are over the tops of the beehives. Even so, they remain very strong and appear not to have been damaged by UV radiation. My beehives regularly get high winds, so I have to cinch these down pretty tight every time I finish inspecting them. I have been very satisfied with their performance and I have just ordered another set of six to cover more hives. I believe the current ones are still usable for at least a few more years.
If you want to attach them one to the other, keep in mind that their strength would not be the same
Melt it yourself by cutting it and melting the wax
I don't think there will be any issues. This is what I used to secure my boat cover, and it

CLICK HERE TO READ THE As a result of my experience with tie down straps, I have plenty of knowledge about them. Although I usually buy ratchet-style battery holders, I wanted something less complicated to hold a 60# trolling motor battery in an open boat. The strength of the pieces will not be an issue, as I'll use 2. You won't have to worry about they straps winding up in your pocket when you walk by a big cheapo tool outlet, getting tangled up like those others. In terms of the physical design, I especially like the heavyweight and the extremely aggressive teeth that grip the strap versus most cams that have smooth ridges that tend to slip under vibration or with As long as the strap is used in the same position hundreds of times, the teeth of the cam will hold and could damage the strap. However, what good does it do? Function is most important to me, and with a price like this, I can afford to replace I love the value and functionality of this product! I just updated my post on the 10th of October Though I still like this item, I strongly suggest that you conduct your own research before using it. was impressed with the holding ability of the strap, but maybe it is a little too I have noticed, after using the buckle several times, that the very aggressive teeth will often embed in the strap, making it impossible to loosen the buckle without snagging. The solution is quite simple Then gently rub a metal file along the teeth so that none of the sharp points remain. When the cam lock is fully open, all the teeth will show. The buckle easily clips onto the belt as it is made of It will result in a buckle that can be held aggressively but can be released This buckle strap is fantastic, and it is excellent value for the money, and I love it even more now that I have modified it.

Their straps are just like all straps should be. They can strap items that must be strapped in case you need a strap to do so.

However, they're not of high quality. It is relatively easy to thread the straps through the buckle, and it is also pretty easy to undo the straps when there is no tension. In reality, once I tightened these to secure my kayak onto my car, they were nearly impossible to undo once I had gotten them attached (despite the fact that my boat stayed quite securely strapped down for a 2-hour drive on the interstate). There are so many sharp teeth on the buckle that they eat into the strap. During the process of opening the buckle, I noticed that the strap material was caught on the teeth of the buckle, causing the threads in the strap material to break, and resulting in tears in the strap fabric. You may be able to use these in more relaxed settings with low tension if you plan on using them in that environment. In order to remove the material from the teeth of the buckle, you have to slack the strap so the buckle opens and you can pull the strap through more. It is probably best not to use them as tension straps on something. If you are intending to use them for tensioning anything, find something better. In general, I am pretty disappointed with.

The problem is. As soon as I opened the package, I was delighted. I would have liked to see straps that are not so thin as others that I have seen, however buckles that are good. The straps I used to strap my new door to my SUV worked great. To tighten the strap, I pulled it tight and the buckle held perfectly. The strap on the other side of the door edge to be used for another strap had come apart from the strain on the door. Certainly more convenient than a 2x4 on the edge. It is a new, high-end door, well finished, with an elegant edge. It happened again when I ran another strap. I was disappointed with my purchase, though it may have been a bad batch. As a means of securing the door, I used rope.

My experience with the tie down straps thus far has been three. As I tried to open and loosen the buckles, all of the straps got snagged on the teeth inside of the buckles. In the end, I had no choice but to cut them off after one use and throw them away. You are not getting your money's worth with these straps.

Two of these straps I have bought in the past year! As I travel around Illinois with my two kayaks, I have a smallish SUV (a Chevy Trax). There is plenty of length in these straps to go around the kayak and under the racks, as well as to tie down the front and rear. Additionally, I use one on the back of my kayak so my tackle boxes remain secure if I tip over. Having them come with a carrying bag is awesome I keep the spares in the trunk just in case of emergencies.

During the attempt to unload my kayak, I could not feed the strap back through the cam. The first pair of straps I had to cut so I could get the kayak from the car, and then the second pair to take it home, where I also had to cut those. It would be too costly to use these just once.

What happened to them? Well, in fact, they were quite promising until the quality started to degrade. My 45 pound kayak rests on the top of my roof thanks to two sets of the orange 2 packs. Before I saw any fraying in the strap weaving where it contacts the buckle edge, I used the first set only a few times. In about three weeks, I used them about 15 times until my back got so tired that I no longer felt capable of The first set of cassettes was returned, and the second set was started. It's the same story, but I can't return it, and I am stuck with it. Here are a few pictures of the 2nd set, which has only been used less than 10 times and has not traveled more than 100 miles. Keep in mind that this was a small kayak secured to my car with two straps, rather than something big and heavy, such as a refrigerator, washing machine, or motorcycle in a truck bed.
